I was just wondering what the views were like in 1 bedrooms. We are thinking of staying there a few days the end of May '09. I really want the space of a 1 bedroom, but also want the view of an OVIR. Can that be had?

Not likely. We are of the same school of thought. We really prefer the 1bdrm kitchen, laundry, and space, but just love the view and sounds from the OVIR. We alternate year to year. Sometimes you can get a sliver of OV from the 1bdrm, but nothing worth writing home about.

Actually it's very possible, but I think there are only a few rooms like that. A few years ago we did Vero and had a top floor 1 bedroom. I'm thinking it was bldg 13, but I'm not sure. Anyway, the view was right straight on to the ocean. The cottages were in front of us, but lower down. It was a great view.

We have had beautiful ocean view rooms when staying in a 1 bedroom but unlike the inn rooms where you book a specific view its just luck of the draw with the villa units.
