View Full Version : Hiring a Pushchair (or take my own)

Well we have just a couple of days to go and now questions keep popping into my head: Todays first question is about pushchairs:

My DD rarely uses her pushchair but I know it will be necessary in the parks, so I am wondering whether to hire one as we have 3 train changes to do enroute to DLRP and thinking it may be a bit of a pain carrying it on and off with all the luggage and children.

Does anyone know if they do a deal for 3 days or is the same rate no matter how many days, the BRIT guide states 7.5 euros which I assume is per day and do they have baskets underneath for all our bits and bobs.

Many thanks

One word of advice is that the pushchairs do not recline, so if your daughter wants to have a sleep, she will have to sleep in an upright position. I think its a daily rate no matter how many days you want it for.

Although I would advise you to hire if you have 3 train changes.

No baskets underneath although space to hang stuff off the handles.

Thanks for the info, we are going to hire, as she will only go in the pushchair at a very last resort so it is just going to be an extra piece of luggage on the train.

You can either hire by the day or hire for the stretch too - you leave an imprint of your card if you want to keep it and take it out of the parks/between the parks. You then get a slip to show at the gates so that you can take the chair out.

Annual pass holders remember you get free buggy hire.
