Anyone hear from Mackey Mouse today?

Just wondering how her husband's scans went. I hope everything was good news

Hi.. thanks for asking... We will get the results on Wednesday morning when we sit with his oncologist. I will try and post when I can but will probably not get access to a computer until maybe that evening, but when I do I will post.

Scan days are always so tough on Tom physically drinking all the barium, not being able to eat and being a diabetic as result of the Whipple procedure, and then having the injections for the PET scan are always fun as his veins are not good from all the chemo... but with all that, I have to say he goes through it like a trooper, never complains, I can just see it in his face...

Keep the good thoughts coming our way... I am hoping we get a reprieve from treatment this time..

Overtaxing yourself is no better than allowing your Dh to overtax himself. You both need to take a breather tonight. We'll hold down the fort. Update us when you can but the 2 of you come first :hug:
