When the dust settles at the Dolphin Resort, what does that $129 per night actually come to, and did you waive the resort fee or not? I'm starting to price out our Nov. trip and I don't need surprises!
Thanks,

I would think...
$129 * 1.12(tax) = $144 per night

Tax at the Swan/Dolphin is 11%, and you can waive the $8/day resort fee.

Actually, when I made my reservation the other day, I was told that you can no longer waive the resort fee, that it was a recent policy change.

I believe it's something like: 11% hotel tax, 6% local tax and $5 per day resort fee.
You can call the hotel and ask for an exact final price. They'll give it to you.

When I made my ressies back in (I think) January, they waived the resort fee. I sure hope they keep to their word.:( Our room will be $144 after the 'dust' settles!!;)

Yup, $144. FYI, when I made my reservation in February, the reservationist ASKED me if I wanted to waive the resort fee. I told her to waive it. She said that waiving it is always an option.
We don't go till May, so I'm not sure what the end result will be...

I booked a room for May three days ago and the reeservationist asked if I'd like to ADD a resort fee of $8 per day. So it seems the new policy is to quote without the fee and upsell to those who want it.

The exact amount is $143.19! I just checked the deposit amount I paid for my room booked with the teacher rate.
I certainly hope we an still waive the resort fee, because I have no interest in anything it provides.
