curly hair bows with ponytails holders

I am looking for directions on how to make the curly hair bows/ribbons on a ponytail holder. I am only finding ones with a alligator clip.

I'm looking for a pattern and/or ideas to make Minnie Ears hair accessories for my daughter.

I wish I had asked, but I saw a picture of a little girl on a thread a while ago, and I fell in love with her hair! If I remember correctly, she had two ponytails with one 'ear' on each, and Minnie's polka dot red ribbon bows. (Maybe even curly ribbon too???) They weren't plain scrunchies.

Any ideas/suggestions will be appreciated. :hippie: true
