View Full Version : Prayers for my brother, please

You are all such a great group of people, who really helped me a few months ago in dealing with the illness and ultimate loss of my father. I'm asking for prayer again - this time for my brother. On Saturday, while he was watching his son play football, his heart stopped -- no warning - just stopped. He has an extensive history of heart problems, but this is the first time something like this has happened. They did CPR for a total of about 45 minutes (between refs at the field, EMT's, and DR's at the hospital) before finally getting a faint pulse. He is currently on life support and in the CCU at the local hospital. They are concerned about brain damage because of the length of time his brain may have been without oxygen. We have seen God do the miraculous on the part of my brother in the past, and now we are calling on everyone we can to pray for another miracle. He is 44 with five kids ranging in age from 15-23. Thank you so much!

Please know I am praying for a positive outcome. How very scary this must have been for everyone.

Thank you everyone for your prayers! I'll keep you posted if there are any updates. So far, he is still in a coma. We are praying for him to wake up and for there to be no brain damage. We've seen God do the miraculous before, and we're praying for a miracle again.
