Hi...
I've been putting pics (saved on my computer) to a SD card for a digital photo frame gift. Unfortunately one important event wasn't saved on the computer and now I'm wondering if I can scan the photos and then save them onto the SD card--OR is there a way that I can resize and still have clarity on pics that are on a website that I've printed off of (Winkflash or snapfish for example)...Appreciate the help pleaseeeee

Are the pictures you want on a website or a computer or is your only copy a print?

Are the web versions full-size? Were the photos originally film or digital?
You certainly can grab them off the web if they're decent quality, you don't need very high quality for your average photo frame. Scanning may be slightly better if they are high-quality prints of a much higher-quality original, plus you need a decent scanner.

I would expect digital frames would shrink or expand files to fit the screen.
But you do not want to fill the card up with huge files either.
if you have a scanner then scan them at the best resolution for archiving then save a suitabe size for the frame to send to the card.

Ok, here are the options (in the most preferable order first, the second one second and so on):
If this was originally a digital picture and the card it was originally saved to has not been used since the file was delted, there is still a possibility of retrieving the file. You can find many of these tools that are free with a Google search, the free ones work better for me, I did try a paid one once, but got my money back because it didn't work as well (on the same test card).
If the picture on the website is mentioned earlier is of a decent quality, simply right lcik it and select "Save picture as...." or something similar depending on your browser
Scan the picture in with a good quality scanner, if you own one
Goto Costco and have them scan the photo in and save it on the card (they will charge a little bit to do so, but if you don't own a scanner this may be the best method)
If you have one of those photo boxes that is designed for transferring pictures, you could always setup your digital camera and take a picture of the picture
There may indeed be other methods, but that is all that I can think of at the moment.

One last option go to start and do a search for *.jpg and it will bring up ALL the pics on the computer you may have it just in a buried folder.
If its vista then do advanced and have it to search no indexed areas also.
Good Luck!
