I read a post just today and can't find it now (naturally!) - a person had booked free dining and had also been able to get a free upgrade with a code.
I didn't think it was possible to have both. :confused3 Would someone please give me the right info on this one?
Thanks!

I highly doubt that Disney will let a person use a code & get free dining as well. They don't double at least that what they told me when I got a 10% off room rate but we wanted the free dining ;) Now if it was 40% off I would have chosen the code at the Yacht Club but to me 10% wasn't worth changing everything I had plus the room catorgory wasn't there so I would have had to book different type room :(
If you find it please let us know.

It's not possible as Disney does not allow you to stack discounts....it's one or the other. Some people feel free dining isn't worth it since you have to pay rack rate to get the free DDP; it's a deal for some but not for others :rolleyes1. Disney isn't going to give someone 40% off a room rate along with free food :sad2:.

It wasn't this post, but it is possible I misunderstood what the person had written. At any rate, this clarifies things and makes a lot more sense! It just seemed too "way-out"...::yes::

No, you weren't imagining things  I think I also saw the post you might be asking about - the poster wanted to add 2 days with dining and tickets to the beginning of their Bounceback-date stay in November. The two dates they wanted to add were not between the Bounceback deal dates of 11/9-11/15/08, so WDW was telling them they were going to have to add another package without the BB discount to get those days/tickets/DDP.
Also, somehow the poster was confused that they had added "Free Dining" to their original BB November(!) package and was worried about losing the deal they already had if they added days.
Well, of course "Free Dining" is NOT offered in November, and the OP paid to add DDP, even if they don't realize it. :goodvibes
I think a lot of DISers didn't answer that post because the OP said they were already working with WDW to price the additional days and figured they would eventually get the correct info directly from WDW, if you know what I mean - no one wants to burst someone's bubble :cutie:
