I probably took about 4000 pictures on this trip, so I apologize! I'll be posting many pictures, some might end up being quite similar, but I'm too lazy to go through them all and not post the similar ones! :lmao:

My room was on the top floor, facing Calypso pool. I really liked the room numbering of Pop Century better, I found these room numbers confusing.

After taking a bunch of pictures of the resort, I decided to head to DTD to do some shopping. My plan was to buy a bunch the first day and not shop later. Nope, didn't work! I shopped almost every day! :lmao:

I missed visiting the Toy Story section of All Star Movies, which you will see when I post my movies pictures. I think it worked out well, because it started to rain a little bit while I was heading back to All Star Music. But by the time I got back to my hotel, it was a downpour! You can't really tell by the pictures, but I tried to show the rain.

LOVED the ASMu pics! A family suite was my first choice of resort but we couldn't get it so we had to go with two standard rooms. I chose ASMo because I thought my kids would like it better but your pics are making me regret my choice. I think I'd rather stay at Music! Beautiful!

All Star Music is beautiful, but I really like All Star Movies too. I am hoping to make that my next resort if/when I can get back. I'll post my ASMo pictures next, just for you!

All Star Music is beautiful, but I really like All Star Movies too. I am hoping to make that my next resort if/when I can get back. I'll post my ASMo pictures next, just for you!

No problem! It really is a fun resort. Don't forget to take a walk over to Music to see what's going on around the pool. They have fun things like Trivia and Bingo, as well as movies. I was poolside, and I did find it noisy because it was always busy, but I loved it. You will be close enough to enjoy it, yet be far enough away to not hear it! :)

I have to say... the All Stars look fun! I was thinking of going deluxe... but the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the brightness and lightheartedness of the values!

It's been a while since new photos were placed on this thread... :)

We :love: the values! They say "DISNEY" to us. It is just DH and I, so we don't need tons of space, and we see our resort as a place to sleep and shower. We were considering DVC, but I think I would miss the values too much. Next trip we are trying out CBR, since I have always wanted to stay there.

Good luck with whatever you decide! The important thing is that you will be at DISNEY!

Yeah, it really does boil down to cost. SO I will have to check it out :) I like options, but ASmo is lovely. SHould be along the monorail, but that is the only thing missing in my opinion.:love:

For our adult meals (on DP) we were able to get an ice cream at the ice cream stand, they just added to the receipt and we could bring it over at any time. WIsh I would have gotten a picture of the ice cream. it was delish! Ate it out near the kiddie water area while the kids were running around (at night which the kids thought was fantastic)

I know it would be a pain, but would the moderators consider separating the All-Star Resort information into separate threads like the other resorts have? :confused3 I'd like to stay at a value resort next time and I need to talk DH into it instead of staying CL Deluxe again. He's going to need visuals and he won't want to go through pictures of every All-Star resort.

It's not bad the way it is, just wondering if someone was willing do sort through it all and do it.:)

We stopped by the All Star Movies resort in June to check it out. We have never stayed here. We usually pick the Pop Century. The resort looked like lost of fun! May have to try it in the future.

Glad I could help! We also have had a hard time picking a different value. We have thought about it three times. The last time I actually booked it and then chickened out and switched to Pop. So the last time we visited WDW we decided we had better check it out in person to ease our irrational fears... ;) We discovered it is Disney there too! Silly us!

I shouldn't have looked at this thread. When I first started planning our (first!) family trip to WDW I thought ASMovies looked perfect but then we decided we needed a suite so had to go with ASMU. Now looking at all the Toy Story (DS's favorite) and Dalmation (DD's favorite) stuff, I'm bummed we can't stay there. :sad2:

I think the soldier has one leg because he's supposed to be leaning with one leg on the wall. That's all I can think of.

The solider with the one leg comes from a story in Fantasia 2000.

We are staying at the Sports for the second time this October. I'm very excited, and would like to see more pics, please!

Also, could someone tell me if all of the rooms have the curtain divider in them, or are they just in some rooms, like the set up the have at the Music resort?

I can't swear to it, but I don't think so. I don't think Sports has been refurbed yet. They are doing it the refurbed rooms at Pop and Movies though.

AS Sports was refurbished right before AS Music, I believe. Only the preferred rooms in the Calypso buildings and the standard rooms in the Jazz buildings at AS Music have the privacy curtain. We've stayed at Jazz and Broadway before. The room we were assigned at Broadway did not have a privacy curtain. I hope this info helps a little.
