Disney Cruise and DVC?

We are thinking taking the 4 night cruise along with a weeks stay at a resort next year. We usally travel during September and since it is Hurricane season. Can we purchase a travel insurance with our cruise and how much is it?

Huricane season or not, we always buy travel insurance for our cruises. I don't know how much the cost is, you will get that information, or where to go for that information when you book. DH figures our 5 night Carnival cruise insurance was about $59 per person. That was in March.

The travel insurance offered to DVC members will only cover replacing points at $5.00 each.

I have not purchased the insurance offered to cover my trips booked on points, but for our DCL Mediterranean cruise we did go to AAA and purchase a policy that covered medical evacuation, trip interruption for medical reasons, and a few other items. It was approximately $20 each.

We recently did a Land/Sea package and purchased insurance through AAA. The insurance was cheaper than Disney's and provided more coverage.
