What games are recommended for young kids. My DD4 loves the sports/bowling games but is having a problem with the kids games i rent. They are too difficult or she needs to read the instructions. And i can only stay so long to help her. I am not a video game player. What would be good games for the youngest. She enjoyed Bee Movie but could really not play the activities, she only liked walking around. Any suggestions?

One of our favorites in Carnival Games. My 7 yr old loves it and my 2 & 3 yr olds love it too. You play different games you'd find at the fair like ring toss or balloon pop and you can win tokens to buy things for your character.

We love Sonic and Mario at the Olympics. Really fun. Even Grandma had fun playing it!

You can get a few game cube games that are great for starters . the wireless romote can be tricky and she might not ge ready for it we have a winnie the pooh that has a nmode for learners and a mickey that is for younger kids. we have a cars game that my youngest(5) can play as long as he uses the wheel.

Mario Kart is excellent. I love playing it with the kids.

The sing along games are pretty easy like Boogie and HSM. Our kids also like playing the Wii Sports and Wii Play and Mario Party 8 we have about 12-15 Wii games currently and some are not easy for our 5 year old but most are quite fun for him.

Do you already own a Wii. If so start with the Wii Sports disc that came with the console. These rudimentary games will help the little one become familiar with the skill required to master more complicated games. From there I suggest getting Wii Play.

yes she does play the sports and is good at them. She can kick my $%#& at bowling...:goodvibes
My older daughter loves Sims kids but my DD4 finds it difficult because she doesn't know where to go(will help once she learns to read well)

Carnival games sounds good. The mario cart sounds good too, but i always rent before i buy and i don' t think they rent with the wheel :confused3
Anymore suggestions, i am open too.

I suggest getting the Wii accesories kit from Lowblaws or even Costco it has a wheel in it plus it has the golf club and a tennis raquet and some come with a baseball bat. The wheel isn't necessary for Mario Kart I find it easier without it honestly. Not to mention you can buy the Nintendo steeringwheel for 12 dollars at Wal Mart then if you rent Mario Kart and like it you have 2 wheels once you purchase the game.

so i if i buy a wheel, and then get the game, can 2 people play mario kart together? How much is the game kit at Costco?

18.99 for the kit at Costco but you don't need the wheel and you can play up to 4 people at a time even usinf the classic controller and the gamecube controllers. It is a blast to play but the Wii kit is worth it even for the other games that are used with it.

My 5 yr. old niece loves to play Surfs Up. She started out wiping out a lot but she's getting better and better every time she plays. Love the surfing music myself!

Lego Star Wars is great - fun for the grown ups and kids. DS is 6 and loves playing. We have Zack and Wicky but DS needs to play with Dad as there is alot of reading and it is somwhat challenging. We also have Mario Galaxie and there is some reading in that too, but once they get the hang of it they can skip through and just play.

cool suggestions, wondered about the Lego ones, i saw the new Indy Lego which seems cool. Will have to check if Blockbuster rents the wheel with there mario cart games. Thinking i will try surfs up for her as the ages match up.

Wii Fit is great and has some mini games for the kids and a great side effect is they get some physical activity out of it as well.
