The styrofoam cup of soup things work ok with this. If you like instant oatmeal that will work too. Now if you want to get creative, that is possible too. You have to be very careful and use potholders with this. Do not let kids do this!!!

Measure out about four cups of water and begin boiling, add Mac and cheese in the box and continue to boil. If you have a very small hot pot you'll need to divide the noodles in 4 sets! When the noodles are cooked (about 6 minutes) drain, add 3 tsp milk and 3 tsp butter to the hot pot, stir in cheese powder and pour over the noodles!!! It is lame, but hey we had to eat in college!!!LOL. Kraft Easy mac works faster this way and so does Ragu Express. The noodles are thinner and only need to cook about 4 minutes.

Hi, We just returned and had instant oatmeal every day, folger coffee tea bags, cup of soup, brought minute rice, but did not use it.

At our grocery stop, I bought fresh fruit, pop, bread. I would suggest packing an extra tote bag to put these items in to make it easier to carry and stow if your room isn't ready.

You don't need to bring any plastic silverware, food courts have them. They also have jelly and margarine.
