So here's a new thing: If your grades improve in a class, your a cheater.

Here's what happened:

I left class but she kept two girls after. The two girls sit next to me. She asked them if I was cheating of them. Why? "His grades are drastically improving this quarter. :furious: Now, as she recommended, I got a tutor to help me do better in math. (I was in the low 70's.) And now in the fourth quarter I have been doing really well. (80's, low 90's.) I would NEVER cheat! Who does she think she is to accuse me of cheating because I am working harder. They told her that I'm not--which is true. Her response: "I'll have to see that for myself than won't I? He's going to be watched very closely."

I'm really just ticked off right now. You don't just accuse your student of cheating, (which is taken pretty seriously in my school) and then when she finds out the truth, brush it off like "Woops my bad." Shouldn't there be consequences for her?

But why can't the teacher just accept that when you put your mind into stuff, you can really improve? I just dont get her.

Well, congrats on improving your grades dramtatically!:thumbsup2

Just prove to her that you're not cheating. When you take a test, ask to sit right infront of her and then get a very good grade and then she'll feel bad about waht she said. She might even say " sorry" to you.

this happened to one of my friends
his history teacher caught one girl cheating on a test
everyone got a 93 or better on that test
after questioning the girl he started writeing referals (this is 2 days later) she ratted on almost the whole class for either cheating or giving answers
they hadn't actuly done anything

That sucks.

This teacher is so arrogant I can't stand her.

Aww that sucks.
This happens with a lot of kids in my school.
The teachers just don't understand, we CAN do better, we don't have to cheat.

If I were you, I'd confront the teacher, and tell her how much it aggravates you that after taking her advice by getting a tutor and working harder to get good grades, you're rewarded with speculation about your honesty.

That's not only rude, but it's disrespectful and unproffesional to approach two other kids instead of going straight to you about it.
A trained teacher should know better than that.

Talk to your parents about it.
And congrats about your better grades :]

That's pretty lame.
I mean, my grade in math last quarter was a 76, now it's a 96, so I guess I was cheating on everything too

Yeah it is very rude. I really hate her. It's just that I've tried so hard in it and now I'm being accused of this?

Well, according to your teachers standards, my tutor must be doing my work for me!
(She helps me but doesn't do it) I went from a 22% to somewhere in the 90s in my classes.

I'm sorry Tom. That must really hurt. If it weren't too late in the year,
I would've went to the superintendant.

I really think I will be going to the principal tomorrow. She can't do this.
