Hello All-
My husband furbaby and I just moved from Boulder Colorado to Kissimmee Florida. We moved the long distance just because of Disney World. We have always been big fans and have spent month vacations just at Disney world. We have been in Florida about a two weeks now and have already been (with our wonderful annual passes) about 5 times. Alot has changed in Disney since 2003 (the last time we were there) so I am really glad that I found this discussion board.
I look forward to meeting other Disney fans and finding out even more about Disney!

Welcome! It's so cool being nearby isn't it? Before we moved to the midwest - my DW and I lived 10 min. from DL - and were there all the time. We loved going some evenings just for dinner - no rides, shows or anything - just dinner. Other times we'd go on a Sunday afternoon to walk around and people watch, or maybe take in one show or a ride... it was a blast being so close. Enjoy!!

How are you liking Fla. in general ? I've been trying to get my DW to move there for 10 years with no luck !! We're in New England, and I hate the cold and snow !! Good luck !! :thumbsup2

We like to go sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for dinner or lunch. We maybe ride one ride a day at the parks unless we are feeling really adventurous. :) So far I am loving living just down the road!:cool1:

Florida is pretty nice so far, but where are all the good coffee shops?:surfweb: The weather is what I expected hot and sticky and at first I thought I would never get used to it, but now I find that I am adapting well and very glad to leave the snow behind :) !

:cutie: So are you guys retired or did you find jobs...I am a specialty nurse and DH is a fireman. I have often thought of a move but would have to find jobs and we are 40ish so it would be a big change but worth it...especially after Katrina.

 Amanda!! DH & I are doing the same thing SORT OF....we are moving to within 15 minutes of DISNEYLAND. We are in MA and DH was offered by his engineering firm to relocate to Orange Cty to head a project that could potentially be 10 years +!!!!! :cool1: Kids are all grown up and basically on their own and DH & I thought this was a wonderful opportunity for him (career-wise) and for both of us looking for a change from New England and of course the bonus round being so close to the LAND.

OMG, after this past winter, which was HORRIBLE (it snowed just about every day in Central Ma) we are so looking forward to NO snow, NO ice, NO shovels, NO freezing temps!!!!!! :dance3:

Welcome to Florida... We live near Daytona Beach and are native Floridians....and I want to move. Closer to Disney that is.:wizard: The way gas prices are we need to move closer so we can keep our Disney craving controlled.:hyper:
