Can your friends visit...

We are headed to FW (cabins) on Wednesday and are staying for four days and three nights. We have some friends that are going to be in Orlando at the same time. Can we have friends come and visit us at the Fort? They have family that have an RV and are interested in staying at the fort sometime soon.

Can they park near the entrance and we can pick them up in the golf cart we have rented? Is there a parking lot they can park in?

Yes they can.

There is a Day Lot where they can park without going through the guard gate, and then you can pick them up in your golf cart or they can take the Purple bus to your Loop.

If they are coming in from the Magic Kingdom area, it will be the 2nd entrance on the left.

If they come in the back way (recommended), no MK toll booth, then it is the first entrance on the right.

(The back way is to go past Port Orleans and take a left at the dead end light, then past the golf course, then right into the Ft. Wilderness day lot.

Sure. There's a second entrance for overflow parking that doesn't go through the security gate. You can pick them up or they can walk to the bus stop and take a bus to your loop.

One of our favorite things to do is to pick up friends in the golf cart up front, the more the merrier!

My parents came to visit us and stayed for 2 days. The girl behind the counter told us she was not even going to charge us for them.
