Do you get stressed from having a test?
If so, how do you get calm/relaxed??
I am asking this because I am studying for this huge math test tmwr. The only reason it is HUGE is because it will decide whether I get a good grade or not! :worried: :worried:
So any advice?

Don't study just the day before, study weeks before, then the day before the test sleep earlier.
I do yoga to relieve stress.
Just do some breathing exercises in the lotus pose.

Wow... I was just saying something calm yourself, isn't that what this thread is about?
I know it's not the end of the world, but it's better than staying up all night studying, because then the nest day you'll tired and it's harder to concentrate.
Believe me.

I would suggest studying well in advance. You will actually get more information into your longterm memory. Your brain is a muscle, it needs to both relax and exercise. Studying is your brain's version of exercise.
Once you get to the test, dont freak out. Skip questions you dont know and go back to them later. Start associating the material with stuff you might have learned in other classes. Once you exite the neurons in your brain the answers will come easier.
Take a small break halfway through. (I usually rest for 3 minutes) Put your head down and close your eyes (but dont sleep :D). This will help calm your body down during a test.
A little stress/nervousness is OK, adrenalin is what helps you perform at top levels.
Good luck!

just follow the Commandments of Studying
1) you shalt not study for longer than fifteen minutes without a ten minute break
2) you shalt commence the studying movement at least one week prior to your test
3) you shalt remember and take good notes to avoid missing important details when studying at a later date
4) you shalt study no earlier than one hour prior to you leaving for school
5) you shalt not cram
^^im a bit of a hippocrite on this one. its flexible; cramming works for some
6) you shalt not study any later than 9 pm
7) you shalt not blow off homework assignments, for any reason
8) if you have blown off a homework assignment, do it and turn it in late, even if for no credit--its a learning tool
9) you shalt honor thy teachers word and not question his/her wisdom
10) you shalt keep these commandments in your mind, that they may help you lessen your pre-test anxiety
:lmao: okay maybe i have too much time on my hands, but everything i said was completely true

I listen to music. Preferably Jason Mraz or anything that has acoustic instruments.

Study until you're confident about knowing the material
