When I'm lazy I just throw the salad shrimp into a jar of the sauce - but that's never cheesy enough for me. Before we started worrying about cholesterol here, I made the recipe below often. It was really good with shrimp thrown in. However, I always used pre-cooked shrimp, so I don't know when to throw in raw shrimp or how long to cook it.
Noodles Alfredo
8 oz fettucini
1/2 c butter
1/2 c milk
1 c grated Parmesan
1 Tbl parsley flakes
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
Cook noodles & drain. Heat butter & milk over low heat. Stir in cheese, parsley, salt & pepper. Pour sauce over noodles & stir until coated.
USE LOW HEAT!!

Here is another one! My girls always ask for this when I ask them what they want for a special meal. (and it's easy!)
Shrimp Fettuccine
1 stick butter, divided
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
5 green onions, chopped
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled
2 teaspoons salt
1 8 ounce package fettuccine
3/4 cup grated Romano cheese (or less)
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (can omit)
Heat 4 tablespoons butter and oil in a large skillet. Add onions, mushrooms, and garlic and sauté. Add shrimp and sauté until pink. Pour off excess liquid and season with salt. Cover and keep warm. Cook fettuccine in boiling salted water and drain. Melt remaining 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Mix in fettuccine, cheeses, and cream. Combine with shrimp mixture. Sprinkle with parsley and toss. Serve immediately. Serve with salad and Garlic Bread. Yields 4-6 servings.

Mmmm...that sounds awesome! But my mom has said she doesn't want me going through that expense now so we're going to grill out hamburgers instead...parents, I'm almost 30 but I guess most parents are like that, they don't want you spending alot of money on them, maybe one day they'll let me :). I told her I wanted to make a nice appetizer though, so I'll be searching around for that. Thanks again, I'll save these recipes for a later date :D
