Either way, it'll be awesome! I mean, look at Amanda! Hers, from the looks of it, went perfectly fine! She's like, a shining example :) Haha.
You could always do what we did. Have a baby but not change the wedding. But, if you'd rather do it earlier, then it'll still be awesome!!
Either way, you'll have an awesome wedding and you'll be a beautiful bride and you'll have an amazing little one! Just always remember that!

We are having a 10am ceremony at WP, cocktails on the Whitehall Patio/ and then lunch in the Whitehall room. Then there will be a break (Which I am not too fond of) and then Illuminations in the French Upper.
Let me see if I can sell you on that break, now that I've gone from hating the idea to absolutely loving the experience :rotfl:
- Gives you a chance to nap and/or take a break from your dress
- Allows you to spend quiet time with your new DH in the middle of the day instead of when you're exhausted at the end
- Gives you something to look forward to after the reception
- DP has more of an impact as a stand-alone event than as the third in a series of spectacular events
- Lets guests take a break/nap/swim
- Gives you and your guests time to get hungry again so you can eat more desserts
:thumbsup2

Thank you all SO much for the support. I am starting to feel a little better about the situation and I know soon I will start to get excited.
So far we have rescheduled for October 15th. Our photographer is available and I am still waiting to hear from the videographer.
They said we can keep our planning session for the same dates but we might get a new planner. We also had to change the time of our wedding but all things considered I think its working out pretty darn well... except for the heartburn lol.

Hey you might be able to take October 1st if you want to move it up a little futher. I unfortunately am having to cancel our Disney wedding because of extenuating (sp??) circumstances. We were getting married at the Wedding Pavillion at 2:30 And then we had Living Seas and then France for Illuminations. We haven't officially cancelled yet because we are still working out some kinks. But hey it's just a thought!!

Hi Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are at the Polynesian right now and I am so excited.
More of the plans are coming together. I was able to re book our hotels (the Royal Asante suite and Boardwalk garden suite) and make pretty similar wedding trip plans.
On Monday we have a floral appointment (we are using an outside vendor) and we are going to visit the Whitehall room and take some photos while we are here.
I will post the photos and a mini trip report as soon as I get back!
Thanks again girls! You all have been great at putting my mind at ease!
P.S. We are def pregnant because we have taken like 10 tests lol! And not jus the ones with the lines lol, the ones that actually spell it out for you.

I understand trying to focus energy on something else, that's what I did every time. And what better than a Disney wedding?
People have been really cruel in your PJ. They should really take it to PM instead of publicly treating you like that. It was yours to share and unless they've got something nice to say, I think they should keep their big mouths shut. How hurtful and unnecessary!

I hope that you will find a space to come back to those of us here who care about you and your family. Sending you lots of :goodvibes and pixiedust: for your upcoming wedding.

Skylarr, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been there, and it's a horrible place to be. Don't let anyones cruel comments deter you from your dreams. Unfortunatly during times like this, some people tend to engage mouth before engaging brain and say things that are hurtful and completely wrong. I don't believe they say mean things on purpose, i think they really are just trying to help, but are unsure of what to say.
Please take the time you need to heal from your pain and loss, but do continue your PJ.

I have received a lot of pm's so I will just post why I deleted my posts.
I deleted them because someone decided that I made up the miscarriage for attention.
I would never wish that misfortune on anyone and for someone to have the audacity of saying I made it up is just ridiculous. I know there are many nice people here but that is just too much for me to deal with on top of everything else.
Once again, thank you to all who have sent kind words of encouragement through pm.
And for those of you who have had mean things to say, I hope people extend the same courtesies you have extended to me, if ever you find yourself in such a horrible position.

I would not take those comments to heart - it was probably just some crazy knottie trying to make as many people feel like junk as they can. ... We're here to support you and help you talk through your time of need...
here's to those who wish us well -- and those who don't can go to (well you know where they can go)....

That is so sad. We understand that you have to leave but if you do feel better and come back we are all still here for you!

Skylar,I'm sorry,I can't speak for anybody, only myself so please forgive me for asking......What caught me of guard was that you said you were only pregnant for ten days,it sounded kind of like oh well no big deal it was only ten days. I know on a message board you can't tell if the person is joking or whatever. That just didn't sound right to me.
So you say you were only pregnant for 10 days..I think it was probably more than ten days..I'm no doctor but I do know that it takes a woman 2 weeks after conception to know if she is pregnant so you were most likely pregnant more than ten days. Here is something I found,it's hard to tell if you are pregnant with in the first couple days, most woman don't find out until they miss thier first period, then again some women are different. Some women go through the whole pregnancy and never know they are pregnant.
4 days before expected period= 51% accurate
3 days before expected period= 82% accurate
2 days before expected period= 90% accurate
1 day before expected period =95% accurate
the day of expected period =99% accurate
I'm sorry, but I think maybe that is why some people don't quite believe you. I will be honest the more I thought about it,it didn't make sense to me.
I would feel bad for the girls on here if you were just trying to get some type of attention because obviously they are really concerned about you and care for you. I felt terrible when I read that you lost the baby and it bothers me if you made all this up when we all were very concerned,my heart dropped to my stomach when I read it. I felt horrible, what a devestating thing to happen to a woman.
I'm sorry if this offends anybody, and I'm sorry Skylar but I just had to be honest with you,I don't put out an act on this board. We all have bulit relationships with each other on here, and I have a lot of friends on this board and I would never take advantage of them so it kind of upsets me if this was all made up and I see them on here showing you concern.
Again I can't tell you how sorry I am.If this did really happen to you please take care of yourself and I am VERY SORRY for this.
I'm trying to be very nice and again I hope this doesn't offend anybody. I'm just looking out for everybody.

I just want to say that I never said I was only pregnant for 10 days... we only KNEW for 10 days. We found out on Wednesday the 4th and had the miscarriage late Saturday night into the morning on the 15th. SO about 10 days. In those 10 days we rearranged our whole entire wedding and many other things in our life trying to get ready for a baby. Our first doctors appointment was for this Monday coming up. I am still going for a check up but obviously not for the same reason the appointment was made.
I am sorry some people have taken anything I have said out of context. You guys only knew such a small part of the story as this is a message board. Seriously, why in the world would anyone make something like that up. This is just so absurd. I can't even believe it. I wish I had never told anyone so I wouldn't have to be dealing with this already terrible situation and then to have people question it and say mean things is just horrible.
Oh and we took 5 pregnancy tests and they were all after my period was due. I was on birth control and we never even thought we were pregnant because of that so when we finally got around to taking a test (thinking it would be negative) it was already after a missed period making it's accuracy at the 99% ALSO, when a pregnancy test is not accurate it is because you get a FALSE NEGATIVE, not because you get a FALSE POSITIVE. You can't really get a false positive as the test has to detect the HCG in your urine... no pregnancy means no HCG and no positive test. You can frequently get a false negative because you tested too early or have low levels of HCG that are not being detected by the test. - FYI

just as a scientific fact, it is possible to get a false positive if you are on birth control; most (I believe all) birth control contains HCG, which is what usually prevents pregnancy. It tricks your body into thinking your pregnant so you can't get pregnant. However, no form of birth control is 100% safe. It is still possible to ger pregnant on birth control, though the chances are between 1% and 5%.
Just a Switzerland comment (Switzerland as in neutral)

I just wanted to add that when I said that I was using birth control I should have said "we were using 'protection'" we were using only condoms so I truley do not believe that I had a false positive as I also had other symptoms as well.
Anyways, I have unsubscribed from this thread and I hope it dies and I never have to see it again.

I'm posting in disguise because I don't want to deal with any drama. She has trolled several private Disney websites on top of this one over the past years and for some reason all her stories are ignored. She's been engaged several different times with many different stories.
She also posted, "Well since I had cervical cancer as a teenager I was told that I might have a difficult time conceiving so we are currently not using anything and if we get pregnant before the wedding we will just change our plans... of course I hope we get pregnant right after the wedding but we just want children and will take them whenever we can get them." yet she said she got pregnant on birth control and it was a complete surprise!
I don't want anyone to waste any time feeling sorry for her...she hasn't said anything truthful in the four years she's posted here. She'll just be back under another user name. Here is the proof of the lies:
Here her posts through the years on the DIS, dating as far back as 2004.

That was true for a period of time and then we decided to stop and wait until after the wedding. If it's any of your business the personal decisions we make regarding our family.

Ummm... we met in November of 2006. We did not get engaged after a week. We got engaged after dating for over a year.

Melissa, face it, you have issues and you need to deal with them. The biggest is that you've repeatedly lied to everyone on here and on the other boards you made fake names up on. You have a lot of people that actually care what happens to their fellow brides and for some reason the attention HAS to be on you, negative or positive. There's a lot more that can be dug up with just a little bit of research. I thought you were unsubscribing to this thread...it's probably best that you do.

okay, I think everyone needs to cut it out, act like adults, and stop this.
There is no need to attack each other....no need for lies, for finger pointing, or anything of the sort.
Whatever is the truth, is the truth. No matter which it was, someone in this thread did lie. I'm not going to say who I believe and who I don't, because, well, I don't want to be attacked next.
Everyone is going to end up getting in trouble if this doesn't stop. Please, either take this to PM, or just drop it.

I agree with Disneychickforever. If you can not be nice to one another you need to find someplace else to go. We will not tolerate any more of this behavior on the board.
