Right a few questions which I would be very grateful for your help on!! :rotfl:
Firstly... We're staying in LBV Resort Village and Spa and was wondering if there is anyway we can request a room facing MK and on a top floor, I've heard of people doing it just wondered how!!
Secondly... we'll be there for the last Star Wars weekend and July 4th, I read in another thread further down that it gets very busy... can the same be said for DHS on SWW?
Lastly... Has anyone stayed at the hotel recently that could give me some kind of review, I've looked on tripadvisor but we'd quite like a Disser's opinion as well!!!

Sorry there's so many questions, I'll probably think of more later!
Thanks in advance!!! :thumbsup2

Yes, DHS will be crowded during Star Wars Weekend - it's hugely popular. Having said that, it's really only the area around Star Tours which gets mobbed for obvious reasons. It's worth checking out - muchos fun. :thumbsup2

I've absolutely zero knowledge of the LBV Resort and Spa. If you don't get any joy here, try the Orlando Hotels and Attractions forum.

Thanks for the help! I think we'll definately go for the SWW at DHS but we just weren't sure on how early to turn up!!

We managed to get in contact with the hotel and we have requested a room on the top floor and they emailed back saying that they've noted it! :) So no worries on the first question anymore!!!

:thumbsup2 Hmm where is you resort located? I could find one at the Lake Buena Vista Factory Shopping area. Not sure what you'll see from there of the fireworks or the parks. It was still being finished last year when we last went past on a shopping trip in June. There was a similar design of building being built near Dolly's Dixie Stampede too.
You'll really enjoy the Star Wars weekend it may be very busy but still good fun, we were there at the same time last year and we loved it. Can't beat the atmosphere there , watch out for the characters walking around the streets you may have to wait a while for photos but its worth it:thumbsup2

we're staying in the one by the factory outlets. I've read on other boards that you can see the fireworks from certain balconies, however this could only be one or two rooms!!

You could be lucky after all it's not that far from there to Disney property. I did notice they have a shuttle service to and from the parks probably via the TTC. From there its not long to get into either of the MK or Epcot parks where you can get a connecting bus to DHS or AK. The resort has only been open a few months so you may just have to check a few american reviews about it to get an idea what to expect, if you Google it you should find a few sites which will help you out.
