I just booked a 3 day cruise/4 night land package last night for my family and my sister-in-law's family. We are a family of 3 and they are a family of 4. Anyways, we booked with the trip starting December 1. The travel agent said the cruise was already 50% booked. I tried to get two catagory 11 rooms, but they were only able to give us a room on floor 7 in cat 11 that accomodates 3 people. They gave a room one grade up on floor 2 for our other family members. My question is, how likely is it that people will cancel in other cat 11 so that our other family members could be roomed closer to us. Other question, I noticed in the brochure that they say for the cat 11 you could get 2 twin beds or 1 queen and a pull out couch. Has anyone been given 2 twin beds? I'm hoping it will be a queen. Guess I'll have to confirm that with the travel agent. Thanks for your help.

I can't speak directly to cancellations, but it seems to me that there is always a chance. I know we just had to change our plans for October to March, so maybe someone got the room we originally had for October.
As to the bed thing - If I'm not mistaken, all the beds are actually either/or - that is, they are usually queen beds, but your stateroom host can change the bed configuration into twins on your request.

We went last Dec 8th on the eastern caribbean and are going this december 7th on the western. Last year the ship seemed quite full-as much as it did on April vacation eight months earlier so I son't know about alot of cacellations. As to the queen be-the push two twins together and attach them with a zipper and one sheet to make a queen so that is not a problem
