Ok this is my mostly counter service reviews. I took quite a few pictures and will try to get thru this over the next few days.

Cast of character: Me:goodvibes , DH, and DS(12)

I will try to post a picture then comments below the picture. I'll then give overall comments then I will rate the food.

Any comments on the picture size or anything would be appreciated. This is my first time posting pictures and I think the pictures maybe too large.

Also any questions you may have about my reviews or any of the places we went, please feel free to ask.

Chicken Wrap
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008046.jpg
I had the Chicken Wrap. Overall it tasted OK but was soggy and fell apart on me.

Double Cheeseburger
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008047.jpg
DH and DS both got the Double Cheeseburger. The meat was dry on both burgers. DH said it tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. He said it was better after he put some toppings on it.

Overall Comments - The food was just OK. The toppings helped make the so-so better. I also want to let everyone know the hot cheese is back on the bar.

3 of us shared 2 chicken wraps last year and really enjoyed them. They are HUGE though...we laughed that the wrap was as big as my ds2's head! I can see how they'd get soggy with the sauce on them, the wrap isn't really that thick (which is kinda a good thing) but the sauce could douse it and get it wet.

Can't wait for more reviews!

Hot Italian Deli Sandwich
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008054.jpg
This turned out to be a pretty good sandwich. It had ham, turkey, swiss, and provolone. It was toasted and the cheese was good and melted. It had some pesto and ceasar dressing on it that gave it a good flavor. It came with a bag of chips but I didn't bother to take a picture.

Pepperoni Pizza
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008052.jpg
DH and DS both got pepperoni pizza. DH got salad with his but I forgot to take a picture. To DS all pizza is good so it was hard to get a real answer out of him. DH thought the pizza was good, seemed like it had some spices on it to give it some flavor instead of just bland WDW pizza.

Overall Comments - I thought overall the food was good and I would eat there again. This was DH's first encounter with a salad this trip, and he was very disappointed about no Honey Mustard dressing. He made do with Fat Free Italian but it is still bothersome. I know it has to do with trans fats but really, is Ranch or 1000 island really any better for you?

Grilled Chicken Sandwich
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008072-1.jpg
OK took this picture without the bun on top so you could see the chicken better. I didn't care for this sandwich at all. The chicken itself was bland and way too small for the bun. The fries were good and hot though.

Bacon Double Cheeseburger
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008070-1.jpg
DH ordered this. He said it was a good juicy burger and tasted fresh.

Double Cheeseburger
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008073-1.jpg
DS said it was good. It looks good.

Overall Comments - I didn't care for my chicken sandwich but overall the food was good. Epcot was very busy this day so Electric Umbrella was very busy. We had a hard time finding a table and had to wait awhile in line.

The Sauces
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008074.jpg
The sauce in the front is basically just olive oil and garlic, they had a fancy name for it but that's what it was. The back left was the peanut sauce, I've tried it several times but never cared for it. I tried it again this trip and really liked it. It had a nice sweet peanutty (gee is that a word:confused3 ) taste. The back right is a sweet and sour sauce, it sort of reminded me of a cross between a sweet and sour sauce and duck sauce, I liked it.

Noodles
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008079.jpg
I thought the noodles were a little bland. DS loved them but I thought they just didn't have much of a taste.

Mixed Veggies
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008078.jpg
As you can see it's mostly brocoli. I like this dish. The brocoli may be a little too done for some people, but I like my brocoli a little overcooked so it was perfect.

Salad
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008075.jpg
Greatly enjoyed the salad. It was all I could do to not fill up on it. I love the Honey Lime Dressing.

Pork Dumplings
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008076.jpg
These were really good. Had a nice flavor and weren't soggy or too crispy.

Chicken Wings
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008077.jpg
Good and messy!!

Here is the first time I failed this trip to get pictures, though there are several more to come. All the meat was good. Steak was cooked medium-medium well, not too done or too rare. The turkey wasn't dry. I thought the shrimp was good but it had some spice on that made it a little warm so it was too hot for DS.

Bread Pudding
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008080.jpg
OK I didn't get the picture until we had started on it. It was really good but way, way too small for 3 people. I guess we could've asked for another one but we didn't bother. DH sacrificed hisself and let me and DS eat almsot all of it. The dessert was very good, I love the sauce that goes on it.

Overall Comments - Thought the food was great and service was better than the last couple of times I had been there. I noticed other people got bread and we didn't and the pork skewers didn't come around until after we were done. Overall we had a great experience.

Thanks for all the kind words  . I've got to work tomorrow so I'm calling it a night. I'll try to get a few more tomorrow and I should be able to finish them up Friday.

Some of the places I will be reviewing: Wolfgang Puck Express Marketplace, Whispering Canyon Dinner and Breakfast, Roaring Forks, Cosmic Ray's. It seems like we ate at the same places over and over. We ate at WPE Marketplace three times. Everytime we were at DTD we got hungry, Earl of Sandwich didn't appeal to us so we at at WPE 3 times. We ate WCC breakfast twice just because we were staying at the resort and it was easy. I also have another review of Electric Umbrella, we ate there out of desperation late one EMH night.

Also, if anyone is interested, I will be doing a few reviews for Universal on the US/IOA board after I get my WDW reviews done.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken Penne Alfredo
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008214.jpg
This was the most surprising meal of the trip. I was shocked at how good this was. The chicken was tender, juicy, and had a crisp crust. Seems to me in most chicken parmesan there isn't much parmesan flavor, but this had a quite a bit of parmesan flavor. The pasta and sauce were also very good. The alfredo sauce had a parmsan flavor also, it was tangier than a typical alfredo sauce. The breadstick was good, had a mild garlic flavor without being too garlicy.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken w/Mixed Greens
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008215.jpg
DH ordered this. It was the same chicken as the Chicken Penne Alfredo so see above for how good the chicken was. The mixed greens were good, it had an italian/vinagrette dressing already on it. DH got some more Italian dressing but I'm not sure if he had to use it or not.

DS ordered a double cheeseburger but I didn't take a picture. He said it was good. It looked juicy and not dried out.

Overall Comments - As I said before I was really surprised at how good these chicken parmesan dishes were. I like the variety of the Pop food court, I think it is one of the best on property. I was very upset though about the Twinkie Tiramisu, I'd been looking forward to having one.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

Ok sorry guys, no pictures. We ate here on the night of the Pirate & Princess Party. I was a little disappointed at the limited menu. They only had the burger side open and also had some chicken nuggets and maybe a chicken sandwich. We all got cheeseburgers (no double this time) and fries. The burgers were fresh and juicy. Enjoyed the toppings bar with the sauteed onions and mushrooms. I wish the toppings bar would have some jalepenos or some other kind of pepper, I don't like pickles on my burgers but I do like jalapenos or banana peppers.

Overall Comments- The food was good overall though I was disappointed at the limited menu.

The last couple of times we went was after they stopped serving the bread, so we sort of forgot it until we were leaving and noticed other tables had bread on them. I didn't really notice the pork either, they kept bringing out other meats so we never didn't have any meat on our plates. Our servers kept bringing meat, they just forgot to bring the pork. We had plenty of steak, turkey, and shrimp. Yes our service the last couple of times was pretty bad, actually if DS hadn't wanted to go back again I wouldn't have gone, so after after such bad service even just decent service seemed good.:rolleyes1

Great reviews and thanks for the pictures. PB is a tradition of ours and the chicken wrap is mine. It is messy but I love that wrap and especially when you add the fried mushrooms and onions to it.:woohoo: This is the 2nd time I have seen pictures of the alfredo penne with the chicken parmesean!!! I wonder if you can get that at all the resorts? We stay at POR and it looks sooo good and yummy. We had a ADR in March for O'hana's and I cancelled it due to volume of bad reviews. Now lately it seems they have gotten better. With your pictures, I'm re-thinking of giving it another try!!!! Thanks again for the great reviews

BBQ Chicken Quesadilla
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008195.jpg

The quesadilla was really good. There was a lot of chicken and the BBQ sauce wasn't overpowering, it was also very large. I liked this but if I got it again I would get an order of fries and try to get DH to split it with me. It was just too much of one thing.

Crispy Chicken w/Fries
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008194.jpg

DH ordered this. He said they were just OK, nothing really special. He thought the fries had somekind of seasoning on them that he didn't care for, he thought it might've been rosemary.

Spaghetti with Meatballs
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008196.jpg

I was a little concerned about DS getting this, I was afraid he would be expecting something like Ragu spaghetti sauce and wouldn't like it. Boy was I wrong, he absolutely loved it. I only got to try a small bite, and I thought it was good, very flavorful. DS didn't care for the meatballs (just to let you know he wouldn't have cared for the meatballs anywhere). I tried a bite of one and thought it was good but I don't think I could've ate too much of it. It had lots of herbs and seasonings in it, which would've probably been better eaten with the sauce and noodles and not by itself. This meal came with a mixed green salad. I've got a picture of it somewhere but I can't find it, I will try to post it later. The salad is just mixed greens with some type of vinagrette dressing on it. It was good side salad that wasn't too heavy.

Creme Brulee
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008197.jpg

DH and I split a creme brulee. I thought the creme brulee was just OK. I've had the creme brulee at WP Cafe and loved it. I've read about many people saying it's exactly the same as served in the cafe, it's not. I thought the creme brulee here was more like a thick pudding with a burnt crust on it, but at the cafe it was more custardy and had a better texture. I'm not saying the creme brulee was bad, just not as good as the cafe.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookie
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008193.jpg

Decent cookie. DS said it was not soft and was more hard.

Overall Comments - We really enjoyed WPE, which will become obvious later on. The only downer to me was, we never all got our food at the same time. This meal they brought out DH's chicken tenders close to 10 minutes before they brought out my and DS's food. I wanted DH to hold back on eating his tenders because I was afraid DS wouldn't like his food, if he didn't they could swap. So basically he just sort of sat there and let his food get cold (ok not really cold, but you know what I mean) while we waited for the rest of our food.

What is this intriguing twinkie tiramisu you speak of?

The twinkie tiramisu was at the POP Century Food Court. It was just a tiramisu but instead of using lady fingers for the base, they used twinkies. It was really good! I had heard they took it off the menu because twinkies had too much trans fat. While we were there I had a CM confirm it was because of the transfats, I don't know if he meant just the twinkies or the whole dessert.

Bacon Double Cheeseburger
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008069-1.jpg
I guess you can see DH really likes the bacon double cheeseburgers. I was concerned about the food being fresh because it was so late but the food was fine, the burgers were juicy and the fries fresh.

Grilled Chicken Sandwich
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008071-1.jpg
A little different picture of the same stuff. DS loved this chicken sandwich though, as I posted earlier, I didn't care for it.

Six Piece Chicken Nuggets
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008213.jpg
I was a little concerned about getting these, I thought they may be like MickeyD's chicken nuggets. They were good. They are more like mini chicken strips instead of nuggets. They are all white meat. I enjoyed them.

Overall Comments- I don't want ya'll to think we love the Umbrella so much we had to go again. We'd ate WPE at lunch time and we were EMHing at Epcot, it was late, we were ready to head back to the room and we were hungry. We didn't feel like walking to WS, we thought about heading over to The Land but didn't know if DS would eat anything over there. We were near the Umbrella so we just ate there. Don't get me wrong the food was good but I would've preferred to try something different.

Pop Century Food Court Again

No new pictures here, actually the pictures from the other POP review were from this meal. DS and I both got the Chicken Parmesan Penne Pasta, again, and DH got the Parmesan Chicken w/mixed greens, again. The only thing I can report is that everything was just as good this time as last time. I thought maybe the chicken being that moist and tender, yet with a crispy crust, may have been a fluke. No fluke, just good.

Overall Comments- Food was just as good this time around.

Cornbread
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008219.jpg

The cornbread was great. I generally don't like sweet cornbread, but I love this stuff. It was sweet but not too sweet, and with a little butter it would just about melt in your mouth.

Salad w/Apple Vinagrette Dressing
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008220.jpg

The salad was just OK. It actually looks better and has more stuff in it (tomatoes, crutons, ect.) than Ohanas salad, but I liked Ohana much better. I just didn't really care for the Apple Vinagrette dressing, it was bland. Also the onions in the salad were very strong. Sorry about the picture, for some reason it's a little blurry.

All You Can Eat Skillet
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008221.jpg

My overall opinion on the skillet is, it was greasy. Even DH agreed that it was greasy. Nothing was really good on the skillet, not that it was all bad, but nothing was really good. The shrimp wasn't good at all, it was very small, lower quality shrimp. I was expecting something about the size of Ohana but these were very small, they also still had the vein in them. They were in some kind of brown seasoning brine/broth that was good but the shrimp were very fishy. The ribs were OK, the corn was good but it was greasy. The mashed potatoes- OK this is the first-but not the last- time I'm going post this, I just don't understand this whole "leave the peel in the mashed taters" craze that seems to have took over not just at WDW but the whole country. I DON'T LIKE PEEL IN MY MASHED TATERS!!!! OK my rant over the taters is over. Beans-The beans were just so-so, to me it tasted like they had a bunch of chili powder in them. The chicken- I didn't try it but DH said it was good but greasy.

OK I'm starting a new paragraph to talk about the pulled pork because I've got to give you a little background. My grandmother did most of the cooking for me and my sister. Neither her or my grandfather had any teeth, so when she would cook a beef roast or a pork roast she would pressure cook it so it would be tender. She would cook it down so much it would almost turn into a mush. When you put it in your mouth it would just fall apart and become grainy, a yucky texture. I tell you this to try to explain to you what the pulled pork was like. It was too tender. I know it's hard to believe something was too tender, but this was, and it was too tender in a bad way. The flavor was OK but the with the texture, I just couldn't enjoy it.

Overall Comments- It will probably be a long time before I do WCC for dinner. The food to me, is just not that good. We made the ADR thinking they had a shrimp dinner but they didn't, so DS ended up ordering the skillet so he could get shrimp. That turned out to be a big disappointment but probably ended up for the best because the shrimp was so bad. The service was decent, our server was somewhat into it but I don't really care much about all that. I care much more about drink refills and she did just fine with that.

Chili Hot Dog
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008272.jpg

DS and I both got this. It was just OK. The weiner was good but the chili was just canned Hormel chili. All the meals came with a bag of chips.

BBQ Pulled Pork Sub
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008273.jpg
This is DH's. He said it was just OK. I tried the pork on the sub, it had a strong smoky flavor but didn't have much, if any, BBQ sacue taste on it. It just tasted like the smoky meat.

Chocolate Fudge Cake
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008274.jpg
Again, just OK. Typical counter service cake. It was rich and had a really chocolate taste. The kids may like it but probably too, I don't know, something, for the adults.

Overall Comments- The food wasn't bad but it wasn't really good either. This is the only place I felt like I got ripped off. I mean $7 for one hot dog and a bag of chips I can get at a convenience store for fifty cents.

Mmmmmm... I wish my computer had a "smell" feature for the salad dressing at Ohana! I LOVE that stuff. SO much, that I make it at home all the time. I am heading to the kitchen right now!

Thanks for the reviews, I am enjoying them! :cool1:

Chinois Chicken Salad
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008286.jpg
DH had this and liked it. It reminded him of a slaw mix mixed in with greens. There was an ample amount of chicken and the wontons in the salad stayed crisp the whole time he was eating it. He thought it could've used a little more dressing.

Beef and Cheddar Sandwich
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008284.jpg
I've had this sandwich several times and have like it every time. This time I think it was a little better than normal. There is horseradish on it, and this time I could actually taste the horseradish. As you can see there is a lot of meat on the sandwich. I don't know what kind of bread is used, but it's a dense, chewy bread that I really like. Overall a great sandwich. The sandwich comes with homeade potatoe chips, which I don't really like. I tried to get them to let me have fries but they wouldn't do it. I just don't care for these chips, you can see some of them are burnt. What you can't see is most of them are soggy. Some of them are nice and crisp like a chip should be but most of them are burnt and/or soggy.

DS got the Spaghetti w/meatballs again. Didn't bother posting another picture. The spaghetti was just as good this time as before.

Mixed Green Salad
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008192.jpg
This is a picture of the mixed green salad that came with the spaghetti. It's just plain mixed greens with a vinagrette dressing. Overall it was good, I think this time I thought it could have used a little more dressing.

Overall Comments- Once again overall a great tasting meal. Once again I was bothered that all our food didn't come out at the same time.

Ghiaradelli Soda Fountain

I forgot to write down the names of what we ordered. I went to several menu sites to try to find the names none of them are up to date. So I'll just give a description.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008290.jpg
DH ordered this, it was vanilla ice cream with butterscotch and hot fudge sauce. He said it was good. He thought the butterscotch sauce was excellent.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008291.jpg
This is what DS ordered. It is basically a warm brownie sundae with a banana. He really enjoyed it.

Warm Brownie Sundae
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008292.jpg
I thought this was just OK. The ice cream and hot fudge sauce were good, but the brownie was more like a piece of fudge instead of a brownie.

Overall Comments- Overall we thought the sundaes were good but just a little too overpriced for what they were. I was really looking forward to this so my expectations may have been too high.

This is exactly how I like to read dining reviews.....great pictures and honest opinions......Thank You and keep up the good work!!!

I agree with the quote above. I really appreciate the honest reviews and photographs. :thumbsup2 So often, people here on the boards just rave on and on about a meal and then when you try it yourself it is just bland or so so. :confused3

Thanks also for posting reviews on the counter service meals. :cool1: We do some table service meals but do a lot of counter service because they are convenient and usually less time involved. Though I hate waiting and hunting for tables and standing in long lines. That is why I appreciate the TS meals when we have them.

Roaring Forks Breakfast

We checked into Wilderness Lodge and decided we would stop and get some breakfast. Our first non-pop tart, non-peanut butter cracker, breakfast. Something about Wilderness Lodge made me forget to take pictures of our food. Most of the WL places are without pictures :worried: .

Adult Breakfast Platter
DH and I both got an adult breakfast platter. I consisted of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and a biscuit. The eggs were scrambled well done, now this is perfectly fine with me because I prefer my scrambled eggs well done, but to some people they may be too done. The bacon was OK, it was a little too smokey for my taste. The hashbrown were just shredded hash browns, they were OK also. The biscuit was sort of dense and chewy. The biscuit was the only thing that I thought wasn't good.

Pancakes w/Bacon
DS got the pancakes. He said they were good. I tried a bite of one and they were fine. Nothing special just a decent pancake.

Overall Comments- I was used to being at POP with all the different varieties of food. It sort of came as a shock to see just two places with food and the small amount of seating. We actually ended up having to eat at some table they had set out in the hallway. I know this seems petty, but I didn't like eating with people walking by me. I noticed a lot of people taking food back to there rooms. Overall the food was fine, nothing special just a decent breakfast.

Turkey and Brie Sandwich
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008356.jpg
I forgot to take pictures while I was eating so I went back later and got this picture and the next one in the glass case. This is the whole sandwich as you can see, cut into 6 slices. You get one slice. It's hard to tell from this picture but it's a good sized slice.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008362.jpg

This is a picture of half of the whole sandwich just to let you see how thick the meat is and what it looked like inside.

Overall I really didn't care for this sandwich, and I wish I'd tried on of the others. The bread and the turkey was good, but there was something I just didn't like. At first I thought it was the Brie, I took it off and ate it without the cheese. It was a little better but it still wasn't good. I didn't realize until I was writing this review and went and checked one of the menu sites what the problem was. The mayo that was on the sandwich had tarragon in it. I appearantly don't care for tarragon. I love mayo but this sandwich was just loaded down with it, and if I think something's got too much mayo on it, it has got waaaaay too much mayo on it. Even without the mayo, the brie with the turkey just didn't work for me. It also came with a pasta salad that I really didn't care for. It was very tart and vinegary. It had more veggies than pasta, and the veggies were soft not crisp.

DS and DH both got double cheese burgers. Didn't bother to go back and try to get a picture bacause I'm sure ya'll are sick and tired of seeing my pictures of double cheeseburgers.

Overall Comments- The burgers were good, my sandwich wasn't. I miss the variety of POP.

Rating- :confused3 so-so Mainly because I didn't like my sandwich.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe

Hot Dog w/Fries
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008317.jpg
DS ordered this. He said it was good. As I said before it's really hard to get any kind of legit dining review about his food.

1/2 Chicken & BBQ Rib Combo
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008318.jpg

This turned out to be really good. The ribs were OK, they were tender and fell off the bone, but didn't have a real great flavor. The chicken was awesome :goodvibes . I was afraid the chicken might be dry, but it was moist and juicy, and had some kind of seasoning on the skin that I really liked. The green beans were OK. I'm a southern gal, and I like my green beans broke and cooked down. These of course were not broken, but they were cooked down more than I thought they would be. Most beans like this are still sort of crunchy and I hate that. They did have a little bit of a rubbery texture, but they tasted OK. OK now the mashed potatoes, I have to say once again, I DON'T LIKE PEEL IN MY TATERS!. OK I think that's the last mashed tater rant. The potatoes were OK if you ate around the peel. Sorry the picture is so dark.

Overall Comments - Overall the food was good. I didn't like having to get into two seperate line to get our food. One line for the hot dog, another line for the rib/chicken.

Whispering Canyon Cafe Breakfast times 2

As I said earlier something about Wilderness Lodge made me forget to take pictures of my food. We ended up eating at WCC for breakfast twice, once was planned with an ADR, the second time we decided the night before we would eat there since we were leaving. Since I didn't get any pictures either time I decided to just do both reviews together.

All You Can Eat Skillet
Overall this was good. The eggs were good but a little runny for me, if you remember from my Roaring Forks review I like my eggs scrambled well, but they were good anyway. The Red Bliss Potatoes were OK, they had onion mixed in with them but they were still sort of bland. The sausage was wonderful, they were the big, thick, fat sausage links like we've had before at Ohana. Loved, loved, loved the sausage, it was reason enough to to come back. The bacon was OK but it was a little too smokey for my taste. The biscuits were probably the same ones I had from Roaring Forks, they were too dense and dry to be a good biscuit. The gravy wasn't good at all. I'd read that the gravy had sausage in it but this didn't. It just tasted like grease and flour, Blah. The Mickey Waffles were excellent. That's the main thing I had been looking forward to was the AYCE waffles.

Overall Comments- The first time we went we had GoldRush for our server she was really into it, she even brought DH a super large Coke. It's a good thing she did though because she kept forgetting mine and DS's drinks. She pointed out to everyone about DH finishing his large Coke, DH wanted to tell her it was because three of us were drinking on it but he refrained. Our second server wasn't into it as much but she kept our drinks refilled. I sucked down the first coke and I got the big one this time!!!!

Grillled Chicken Salad

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008357.jpg

They make this salad right in front of you when you order it so it's easy to have them leave anything off that you want left off. This was supposed to have the same apple vinagrette dressing that WCC served, DH didn't care for that dressing so he had them leave it off and got a pack of fat free Italian. He thought the salad was OK but not great, and not near as good as the chicken salad at WPE. One thing he really didn't like was the walnuts on his salad. I asked why he didn't leave them off and he said he really didn't notice that those were walnuts.

Cheese Flatbread
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008359.jpg
I actually ordered a pepperoni flatbread but this is what came out so I just took it and went on. I thought this was decent. The crust was good, it was thin and the edges were crispy. The sauce just tasted like plain old WDW sauce, sort of bland. Overall it was good though.

Double Cheesburger
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008358.jpg
OK I swear this is my last Cheeseburger picture. :worship: DS ordered this and he said it was good.

Chocolate Cake
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008360.jpg
We all felt like getting dessert so this is what DH got. He said it wasn't very good, it was dry.

Brownie
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008361.jpg
Me and DS each got a brownie. DO NOT attempt for one person to eat this brownie. It is huge and very, very rich. I did manage to finish mine but DS took part of his back to the room.

Overall Comments- Once again a pretty good meal.

Cinnamon Roll
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008455.jpg
This was good but not as good as it looked. The cinnamon roll itself was pretty good but it was covered with a honey glaze that I thought was just OK. Overall it was good.

Krispy Kreme Donuts
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008456.jpg
DS had these. It was actually a pretty good deal, 2 KK's for $.99, not a bad price. We have KK at home so I probably wouldn't have got them at WDW but when a kid sees Krispy Kreme Donuts, they got to have them.

Crumb Cake
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008457.jpg
DH thought the crumb cake was good but sort of dried out, like it had been sitting for a while. You can also see in this picture the banana DS got to go with his Donuts.

Overall Comments- Overall this was a decent, cheap breakfast. We got all this and two jugs of milk for about $12. Not too bad in WDW for 3 people breakfast.

Pepperoni Pizza
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008643.jpg
DH and I both got a pepperoni pizza, I think he got the Woody Combo with a Salad. I just wanted the pizza. The pizza was better than I thought it would be. Very similar to the pizza on Page 1 at Eddie's at DHS. It seems they've broke down and started putting some seasoning on top of the pizza to actually give it some flavor.

Cheese Pizza
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008644.jpg
The cheese pizza has the same comments that the pepperoni above.

Salad
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008645.jpg
As you can see, just a very small, very basic salad. It was just OK.

Chocolate Chip Cookie
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008646.jpg
DS and I each got a chocolate chip cookie. They were good sized and had big chocolate chunks instead of just chips. The cookie itself was good too, although I thought $1.79 was a little high for a cookie.

Overall Comments- The pizza was better that the last time we ate here it's still just mediocre. As an adult I probably wouldn't go, but DS always enjoys eating here.

Rating- :confused3 just mediocre

Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/WDWVacationMay22-June2041.jpg
This was a good pizza. I enjoyed the mushrooms, on the standard WDW pizza pepperoni and mushroom is never an option. The crust was thin and crispy. I was concerned about it being burnt, I think you can see one side of the crust looks black, but it wasn't. It also had a lot of spices and flavor. The pizza was bigger than it looked and I couldn't finish it all.

Mixed Greens Salad
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008192.jpg
Again this comes with the spaghetti. I meant to get a Ceasar Salad to try something different but I forgot and got this again.

Spaghetti w/Meatballs
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008196.jpg
As you can tell, once DS finds something he likes that's about all he will order. So here is his spaghetti again, this is the same picture that I posted earlier but since this is my last full blown review I wanted to end it with all pictures. DS had this three times and it was just as good the third time as the first.

Chinois Chicken Salad
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm150/lastokes71/DisneyMay22-June22008286.jpg
I used the same picture from earlier but DH swears this salad wasn't as large as the previous one. He ordered extra dressing this time. He said it was still good but not as good as the other one.

Overall Comments- I guess you can tell since we ate here 3 times, we really enjoyed WPE. I liked the large variety of food but DH and DS thought the same things were good. Even if you're not planning on doint DTD, I think it's worth the bus ride down to eat there. The best thing about WPE is it's not for at all from the WDW bus stop. **Just wanted to add: I've been looking at these WPE pictures and the spaghetti and the chicken salad look like small portions. Just to let you know, they aren't. They are good sized portions.

We really like WP Express. DH usually has the chinois salad too - he loves it. My DD adores their mac 'n' cheese.

I have to say that we were less than impressed by the counter service option at Widerness Lodge. When you compare to the value.moderate resorts, it seems that there is just not the same level of choice and variety. I suppose that is because WL has two full-service restaurants - but, still, for a Deluxe, you kind of expect a bit more.

That said, I did really like the flatbread from RF and actually had it 2 or 3 times during our stay :)

We are staying at Pop again this August. We never had much problem with the food from the food court except the kids menu is very limited and my DS wanted something other than was on his menu. So we would order from his menu and share from our meals with him.

The pictures that were posted of the Parmesaen Chicken w/Alfredo Noodles and with the salad look really good. I think that they will be some of the CS meals we will be getting. Thanks for those pics.
