My Memorial Day FW Cabin TR is finally up

Less than a week after we got back, I've finally gotten my TR posted (at least the first day!) on the Trip Reports board. I'm not a writer by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm having fun working on it. So, in case anyone needs anything to read before nodding off at night, here it is:

I didn't make it to the Memorial Day GG, but as an added enticement to read, I did get to meet BDR while we were there. ;)

I'm anxious to read more TR from Memorial Day from other campers too!

The picture with the Mickey in the tree is a good friend of ours. He winters from November thru May at FtW. That Mickey has been flying high since about 2000!!! They left to go back to Michigan 5/27.

How cool! Make sure to tell him we love it! Every time we would pass it at night, I would stop the GC and make the kids look at it (which of course they grew tired of after the first few times!).

Day 2 will be up before too long. I don't know if hardly anyone is reading it, but it's fun to do.

Lovin' your trip report. You make me feel like I'm right there with ya. Love the little yappy dog - I have her twin at my house. She's a 7 month old Maltese.

Great report! We loved the cabins last summer and and managed to lock ourselves out as well! Luckily, my mickey head lights were strung through the front window so I boosted up my daughter to break in and save the day! (After that, of course, we locked the window and always pushed the door jammie thingy in when we applied sunscreen. Great photos- you have a beautiful family!

We JUST changed our reservations from one of the all star resorts to a cabin because my parents are joining us and now I'm just so excited :) :) I have to add that little Evan is just about the cutest friggin kid I've ever seen!! Look at those dimples!! How does he feel about younger women? I might have a date for him in a 10 years or so! :laughing:

Thanks! I have to agree that Evan is too cute. He actually looks just like his daddy (my brother) did when he was a kid and my brother turned out real good looking so he's got good genes! :thumbsup2

The Star Wars Training Academy is one of my favorite things to watch at HS. I never tire of seeing how seriously the little one's take it!!

I'm so glad you had a "magical" experience at WDW. That's what it's all about!
