I'm happy to have found this Community on Disboards! These boards have been so helpful in my planning for our December 2008 trip- my first visit to the world since 1986!

I love to scrapbook, but still consider myself a novice. I get caught up in looking through idea books and buying supplies, and spend less time than I would like making actual layouts. I look forward to learning from all of you and checking out your beautiful work!

My question is this: I have been looking for some pretty specific paper which I am now convinced is not out there (after Googling it every which way I can think of). How difficult would it be to make my own paper? I have found vintage fabrics which would be perfect for what I want. I would love to make paper based on those fabrics, and maybe even produce and sell it. Dream big, you know? ;) Any ideas?

Thanks!

Can you post a pic of the fabric? I'm sure one of us will be able to find something. Also one of our digital scrappers might be able talk you through scanning the image and printing it on paper.
