It's true and a lil cruel i kno, but we often treat the kids to fun disney trips and daydream about the things we could enjoy alone. Like beers around the world:drinking1 ...dinners for 2, chocolate around the world, Adventurers Club, Pleasure Island...and the list goes on!:yay: :yay:
We will be staying for the 3rd time at POR. Aug 10th to the 14th.
Can't tell the kids....shhhh... the might disown us.:confused3 :confused3

Congrats! We took an anniversary trip alone and had a blast.
We were so relaxed. We stayed at restaurants as long as we wanted. We also slept in as long as we wanted!
Our kids really never said anything about it. They had already been a couple of times and grandma (who they rarely see) was watching them, so they thought that was cool.
Great Memories.:thumbsup2

We just booked yesterday and we're going without the kids! We did this last year for our 10-year anniversary and we could stay out later and just go with the flow. We'll be there June 11-16. I haven't had the heart to tell the kids. We just went in March and will be going back in December so they'll get to see the mouse again soon. I'll have to tell them right before we leave or I'll feel guilty! Have fun!! :wizard:

We leave next week for our first trip without DS. I'm feeling pretty guilty, but know that we will have a great time and probably won't do it again for a long time!

We are going to do the same thing for a future anniversary! Can't wait to do Disney for just the two of us!

We are going 8/28-9/5 for our 25th! Second trip on our own without the kids (we did one with my mother too). It is completely different, so much more relaxing, etc. Our kids are 20 and 24 now anyways so no guilt here! lol

Careful though.....folks against the theoretical "adults only" hotel might see this and flame you as a child hater! lol
