View Full Version : Why are AKL value and standard 1BR so few points?

Has anyone been to one? Comparing them to a 1BR at SSR, they are many more points. Why is that? And more importantly, is there something that I would regret if I were to stay there?
Sometimes, I can't find a thread that connects why one resort's rooms cost more than another resort's.

The Value villas are smaller (i.e. less square footage) than the other villa categories. A Value 1BR will only accomodate 4 people....all other 1BRs at AKV will accomodate 5. While the Value villas are smaller some do have a savanna view (you can request this but it is only a request none the less). Standard villas are less points because they will have a pool or parking lot view - less desirable to some who want to guarantee a Savanna view and therefore less points.

You might compare the AKV standard views to the BWV standard views. Not great views, but a nice saving on points.
