Peg and I finally purchased a Travel Trailer today, a 26' Springdale by Keystone. Even better, while I was at the dealer, Peg got a site in the 900 loop for our July trip for the same days. We should be getting it Tuesday after they Prep it. It is a 2008, was the dealers employee demo, comes with the full warranty. Only thing we are having them do is change the tires because all 4 show some fine cracks, and we remembered reading here before about the rot and sun exposure. Some how we feel more like legit FW campers now. :yay: :dance3: :woohoo:

Hip-hip- HOORAY!! You'll love it!! Good idea about them changing out the tires. You were thinking, dude! You don't want ANY trouble when heading to FtW!
Are you going to be able to take a little trip before leaving in July to do a thorough "shake down"? Nothing worse than wasting time while at FtW waiting for a mobile RV repairman to come fix something - not to mention having to put out the $$ and then wait & wait for the RV dealership to reimburse you.
If you took an extended warranty and you run into trouble, ALWAYS call the warranty people first to make sure a repair company is on their authorized list. I've read too many sad stories in Trailer Life & Motor Home Magazine where people on the road used the nearest RV repair company to them, did not call the warranty company first, and got stuck with the bill.

Won't be taking a shakedown trip but will put some drive miles on it here, and set it up and let the kids use it while we get it set up and outfitted.

Need to get my ramps back and take the tool box out, but think we will be good. Going to install a stabilizer hitch as well. Due to the house I am building, we won't be there untill July 22, but Caitlyn has already asked if we knew if you guys would be down there then. Hoping 900 loop is as good as we hear.

Hey Tim, 900 is a great loop due to the closeness to the Meadows, campfire and pool. Of all the loops it feels kinda private as well. We'll be heading back home around the 9th or 10th so we won't be there at the same time. I thought you were changing things and coming for the 4th.

We had ressies, then cancelled, then we had ressies again...lol Canceled due to my house build. But if we hit loto or I land another 50 to 70 k of work, then we might see if we can book 2 more weeks. I would just need to bring the TT down and let Peg follow, then leave after a few days, then come back down after the 15th or so. Man I wish we were like 3 to 4 hours closer, and about 500k richer.

That's good because Gatordad likes to ride through the cabin loops to let the people know they are not campers!:lmao:

Well I picked it up today, all good in the hood. Peg has been working the phones more then a Clinton supporter, working to get days added. We are now booked for 7/1 to the 4th, need 5th and 6th. We are considering this our shakedown trip. Yeah, I know it should be closer, but figured if we have any problems, I know a bunch of people thre. Say a prayer we get the 5th and 6th. Gona post a few photos of it.

Ok, I was in the cabin for the MDGG but I will be in my camper for the FOJGG!:rolleyes1
And, to make matters worse, I have requested the 900 loop so I can stalk the stalkers!:lmao:

SO they are going to surround the entire loop with mirrors so we can stalk ourselves.

I hear 1700 is a nice loop. What's your reservation number? I'll see if I can get you moved. If you get 911 I'll pull that camper off that site. That's my 4th of July site.

I tried the 1700 loop. Gatordad doesn't talk to me when I stay there. I am aiming for 905 so I can set up my tent city and stalk everyone when they come in the loop. (unless it's Gatormom because she drives in through the out door:rotfl2: )

Rog- I went to the Fleetwood site & didn't see that one. What is it?
Never mind - I found it! NICE!!! Gina & the kids would love it! Make sure the GC will fit on the deck. Last summer when we were staying at FtW, a couple wanted to buy our old GC, but it would not fit on the deck. They were from Maryland so could not come back for it. Anyhow, measure to make sure the Munster Mobile will work on this.
