AKL experts - need help with room location request

I've been reading all the great info on what animals can be seen from what trail but I'm still confused over requesting a location...

My DH and I are going May 5-12 booked for a "standard savannah room". We've requested a non-smoking location with a King bed. We would go for quiet over convenience to the lobby and restaurants.

DH has degrees in Biology and Zoology but alas must work with computers for a living! I'm really hoping for a room location that will have lots of animal action right outside our balcony! We are planning to have room-service dinner on the balcony the first night we arrive.

So any experts out there that could help us choose a trail?

Ask for a lower floor (2nd floor) room towards the end of Zebra Trail, or one overlooking Sunset Savannah. I prefer Zebra Trail overlooking the main savannah, but Sunset Savannah is smaller, and the giraffes especially can get very close to the rooms.

I also like Zebra Trail and the second floor (which puts you closer to the animals). We had a room at the end of the first block of rooms and enjoyed it very much. I don't think I'd want to go any more toward the lobby and Arusha Rock but from our room the second and third block looked like they would also have great views - there is a watering hole that way. I think if you take a look at the AKL map here on the DIS you can tell what I mean by "block"

I will request Zebra trail, 2nd floor - either savannah looks like there is a variety of animals.

I'm just wondering if there are King rooms on either floor 2 or 3?
