We have DS 3 1/2 and DS 5. Don't think I'm terrible, but just HOW strict are they about the age requirement of 4 years at the on-site clubs ? We feel a little unsure about the in-room babysitting services. I know people have nothing but good things to say about them, but we would feel more comfortable with the clubs. Our sons are both big for their age, do they really question you about the ages?

The staff ratio is set by the state of Florida in their licensing requirement; they are not licensed for children under age 4. The license could be suspended or revoked if they are found to knowingly violate the age requirement.

We went to WDW in Feb., and on one night, DS 4yo and DS 6yo went to the Mouseketeer Clubhouse at the CR. DS4 yo is small for his age, and he was asked a bunch of times by the CMs how old he was (even after DH and I left). They even asked DS 6yo how old his little brother was.

We were questioned only when booking the Sandcastle club and when we dropped our sons off if the younger one was 4 and fully independant in the bathroom. I said yes and there was no more questioning about it. No proof of age was required.
