How many memory cards do you take?
I have one with 1G and another with 2G - That wasn't enough for a 5 day DL trip.
I was thinking of getting another 4G memory card but now that doesn't seem like enough for a 14 day WDW trip. I would also take the other 2 cards.

I usually take two, both 16 gig. I use them both at the same time (writing each picture to both cards for safety). At night, I dump the photos to a laptop and burn them on DVDs.

Concur, always good to archive redundancies.
I use 4 gb CF cards. I have to switch out cards more often, I prefer smaller cards incase one fails, which has never happened, but if it does, I will not lose as much. regardless, always, always archive if you want to keep your keepers. Peace of mind is worth it.

I also prefer smaller cards. The biggest is 4 gigs and soem 2 gigs. When we did the 7 day cruise I took my portable burn-away and was burning to CD's every night. I had over 16 gigs in cards with me and was able to download them everynight. Love that burner......

I just purchased another two 2G memory cards. So that is a total of 7G.
It seems that I can only get 2G as the 4G or more won't work with my camera.
Might have to buy some more later. Not sure if 7G is enough.

Since I take my laptop with me when I travel and download my pics every night, I don't need as much camera memory.
However, on a trip where I have no laptop, my strategy is this: 1 memory card per day, plus 1-2 spares.
I know about how much I shoot - usually less than 200 pics per day - so I just make sure each of my cards is big enough to handle a typical days shooting.
The crux of this strategy is that I never shoot more than one day worth of pics on any given card, and when the card fills up I leave it safely seated safely inside my hotel safe safely. Thus, if my camera gets lost stolen, or takes a swim on POTC, I won't ever lose more than one day of pics.
This strategy also means that I don't have any need to buy a huge memory card, just a series of smaller cards. Since many of the smaller cards are cheaper per gigabyte than the largest cards on the market, it also saves me a bunch of money.
