I went on to iTunes and tried to pull down the old podcasts today, and the earliest I found was for summer of 2006. There was a great rant in there from Pete about Disney upping the ticket prices during the summer, and he was upset that Disney did this while the economy was bad, housing market was down, we were in a war in Iraq, prices for gas and airlines were higher than they have ever been...............some things sure haven't changed!!

My question is how long has the podcast been around? I am going to search around the website to find what I can, but I'd love to go back and listen from the very beginning.

summer 2006 is about right... if it starts out with pete thanking someone who is on vacation you are at the first one.

Thanks - I am pretty sure I have the first one then. I still love the fact that everything we are complaining about in summer 2008 were issues all the way back in summer 2006. I'd love to roll back to those gas prices!

I did the same thing, I'm up to Christmas in July 2007 - so I'm about a year behind. Of course I'm listening to the new ones as they come out.

I heard them talking about a gaget to listen to your iPod through your car radio and went out and bought one today. Now I can listen as I'm driving around spending all that money on gas.

I'm obssessed !!!

I got one of those for my birthday in April and have been listening to podcasts on my commute ever since! I have caught up to current on the ones I listen to, so now I am going back to catch up on the history of my favorites, which of course means I am starting with the DIS from its genesis. It almost makes $4.15 a gallon tolerable. Almost....
