AHH! just finished my trip plan, planning which days to crowd expectations etc! then i just realised that i havent fitted in a waterpark!
however as ive pencilled in AK for 2 days i think this can go down to 1, but is it too much of a push to fit 2 waterparks into one day? TL and BB ? we are staying at dolphin and wont be driving so will have to take disney transport into account!

Is it really important to do both?
I'd say take a leisurely day at one, don't rush to see everything this trip (it gives you a reason to return (I doubt you'll need one anyway :rotfl: ))
BB is better for slides etc.
TL is better for swimming.
TL kids area is a little better that BB in my opinion, but this might not factor in your plan

You could probably do it, but if you've got two days set aside for Animal Kingdom, you'd be better off doing two half days and then going to each of the waterparks for a half day. Both waterparks are worth a visit in their own right, I wouldn't try to cram both in on one day.

Or if you've planned 2 days at Disney Studios you could probaly do BB one of those afternoon/evenings. You should be OK with 1.5 days at DHS. I'd do full day at TL -in fact we've planned 2 as we enjoy it so much-as buses between waterparks might prove difficult/time consuming.

Thats a really god idea, you will see more ofthe animals in the morning, and AK gets unbearable hot in the afternoon :goodvibes
we are always tired after a day at a water park
lots of swimming and walking around
we like them first thing in the morning when the crowds are still small

you could do it but i would think you would be exhausted by the end of the day, i agree with the suggestion of spending 2 mornings at AK and then heading to a water park at lunchtime. Both water parks have their appeals we like BB for the childrens area.

we're like paulh and spend a lot of our time in the water parks so I would def say find time to fit both BB and TL in.
Have you planned a trip to Aquatica too?
We're off next Weds and are thinking of spending our first evening at Aquatica as we have a 14 day flexipass but are only there for 11 days

I totally agree. We've found, half a day is perfect for water parks, especially if you get there at, or just before, opening. You can get on most of the 'big' slides without too much wait, and have the rest of the day to do other things!
I would also try and do both water parks... both worth doing!

PS. Our DD and BF are at TL today..........:beach: - then going to watch the shuttle launch tomorrow!!

Check the closing times for your plans - I am always disappointed when the 5 O'Clock horn goes off and we have to get out of TL.

What we did one year was just to pop in a water park at tea time for a couple of hours, this was when they closed at 7 pm in the summer. We found it very relaxing as a lot of the crowds had left and it was very easy to get a float for the creeks (in July). We didn't bother with the slides but I would imagine they would have been okay too.

Personally I don't think that I could do 2 days at AK,although it is a huge park,it's more because of space between attractions than crammed full. The way we normally do it is go to AK early, leave mid-afternoon & go to Ep,allowing us to possibly finish the things we didn't get into on our Ep day. This may also free up that extra day that you are looking for,if for us it came down to a choice ,then TL would win over BB.BB is good but it can be hard work, you feel as if you're climbing Mount Rushmore all day!
