BWV waitlist ....

I've been wait-listed at BW for the 1st week in Dec. since Jan. and NO days have come available.

Last year I did this in July and within 1 month all my days came up.

Does this seem odd? For not being one of the peek seasons, this seems awfully busy for NO days to come up in 3 months.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

The first 2 weeks in December are very popular at Boardwalk (I've gone the past 2 years the first week & have the second week reserved this year), low points plus the Christmas activities at Epcot. They also have the annual meeting around that time. I called day by day for my standard view reservation. Some rooms may open up at 7 months, some people may want to try Beach Club Villas this year.

They are showing no availability at VWL as well for the 1st week of December. I thought this was a slower time ...

for WDW in general, but NOT a slower time for DVC - in fact, this is one of THE most popular times for DVCers to go home, as I understand it.

I hope it doesn't get that way at OKW! We've only been once at this time of year and love it! I hope it doesn't get to be a hard time to reserve in the future!

I just thought I must be nuts ... as one of the slower seasons
I couldn't understand why it is so tough to get ressies then.

But now it makes a little more sense, DVC'ers heading down, along with various meetings.

Well, the good news is that on May 2nd the 7-month window for BCV opens up.

Wish me luck, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

I wait listed for a studio at BWV at 10 months for that time and all days came through within a month...

We have VWL Dec. 1-5 then BWV sv Dec. 6-13. This will be our 1st time that time of year and probably the last time. We hate to travel during the winter as a lot can happen on the road and at home (far north-east). But a dream has always been to see the holiday decorations and to take part in the festivities. So we are hoping for the best this year. So someone else can have a turn in years to come cause we won't be bidding for it.
