Port Orleans French Quarter to Reopen, and boats to Downtown Disney!!

Based on strong Guest demand, Port Orleans - French Quarter
is once again booking guests for arrivals beginning May 31,
2002. All resort facilities and amenities will be open and
available to Guests as of this date, including the
ferryboats to Downtown Disney. The food court reportedly has
been rehabbed as well.

It was recently announced that River Country Water Park will
not open in 2002."

This is very good news and it's great to hear that Disney are recovering their visitor numbers enough to d this.
I thoroughly recommend the boat trip to DD- a very nice little extra :)

Yay! That's great news. I've heard the parks have been mobbed and full to capacity this last week, I'm glad that things seem to be picking up again :)

Oh, and I agree with Shirley, I've done the boat trip from OKW, it's a wonderful quiet little trip to do, especially if you can go around dusk.
