Question about Holiday Completed Page and WDW Event Swaps

I'm scheduled to do sign-ups for the Holiday Completed Page swap in late June and the WDW Event Swap (including Pirate and Princess Party) on 10/15. I would like to gauge interest on a couple of things related to these. I am posting them here on the same thread since so many of us do all of the swaps.

1) How many are potentially interested in the Holiday Completed Page swap? This would be Seasons (Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring), Easter, Halloween, Christmas and Birthday pages (just examples). If I do sign-ups on June 28, I would need to hold to a firm due date of September 20. Any later, and I'm afraid the craziness of Fall schedules will cause problems.

2) I want everyone to know up front that I will be running future Completed page swaps similar to 123SA's ABC Swap. There will be a limit to the number of groups swappers can sign up for initially and there will be page prototypes due at a date TBD. Just FYI so that you know going in.

3) August is looking pretty bare for sign-ups so I was thinking of backing the WDW Event Swap to then and having the due date be October. Thoughts?

Let me know if y'all have any questions about these swaps. I just want to make sure we are on the same page.

It's hard not to be near a lake in Texas. There are 254 lakes in Texas and 254 counties. No, there is not a lake in each county but chances are you aren't too far from one no matter where you are.

:faint: Only West Texas is desert-like. There are tons of lakes and trees all over the state. It is a beautiful state and Fort Hood is a gorgeous area. It's in the Texas Hill Country and is lovely. The people are pretty darn nice too!

I am interested in the seasons and Christmas in the holidays swap as well as some of the events swap. As far as timing goes I will have to see what is happening. We are moving around July 1 but still have to sell our house. I did however get lead on a job that would cut my cummute by an hour each way. i will be checking on it tomorrow.

I am interested but will look at my schedule more as the time draws near to see if it would work.

Susan - apparently I've neglected my swap buddies since a week later I see this whispering about Texas - so would that mean you and DH would be in the same place at the same time?

Yes -- we should know within the next two weeks. The move would happen in late November, early December. Probably 18 months, with the option to extend. We would keep this house and rent in Texas. I would have to find a property manager I guess. I really don't want to rent out this house -- too much cleaning, packing and storage.
