Okay everyone, what IS DIS-CON? I'm reading your posts and laughing and getting jealous It sounds like a blast! What is it, and how do I get in on it??

:wave: Hi Jennifer. DIS-Con is an annual 'meet and greet' of DIS'ers. Our first annual DIS-Con was last Nov-Dec., and it was A Smash Hit!!! :D

Registration has not opened yet, so just stay tuned to this board, and when any announcement is made you will be one of the first 100 :D DIS'ers to know. No really, this is where all info. can be found.

So far all we know are the dates......Dec. 4th-8th. They might add one more day to the beginning.

Hi, Jennz! Welcome to the DIS!!!

My name is Ray.

"DIS-CON" is a short phrase for "DIS-Convention.

Mr. Pete Werner, the owner of this web site called the "DIS" held a special 2001 DIS Convention "A Gathering of Friends" last year at Walt Disney World.

Pete and his staff planned several days with special events, character breakfast, dinner, dessert party on French Island to watch Illuminations.

There was a fee for this convention, but we also planned many other UNofficial DIS mini-meets around the official events.

Why don't you click on some of my links below for more information from last year.

We have not received OFFICIAL registration information, yet. But it should be coming soon.

I guess I'm a little excited about this 2002 December's DIS Convention "A Gathering of Friends" that we have suggested a lot of unofficial DIS mini-meets for before, during, and after the Official DIS-CON.

I hope that you can come.

Hi Jennz!

I just noticed you're from St. Louis! Me, too! I went to DIS-Con I last year with my daughter and amy going this year with my husband, most likely. Hope you can make it. By the way, we are planning a St. Louis DIS meet for June 29th. Maybe we can meet then!
