Adults Only - Bigger than ever!!

Hubby noticed something new while biking by the adult beach on Castaway Cay...huge new signs declaring the area as adults only! The signs are so large and prominent that they are nearly impossible to miss, and they are by both the beach and the lunch area. Ironically, we spent the day at the adult beach, but Tony did take some photos of the new signs that we'll post later. I'm always pleased to see Disney's commitment to making the cruise as great for adults as it is for the kids.

Looking forward to spending some time on the adult only side (Serenity Bay) with hubby in January. The first cruise, we were with friends. The second, we were alone, but never docked. The third we took the neighbor kid with us and had lots of fun on the family beach. This up coming January trip, we'll be alone, so we better dock. lol.

The adult only beach is somthing that I am looking forward to. My husband and I do not have kids and although I love kids the idea of having a beach with just adults sounds like heaven to me.

I was afraid that Disney being Disney they would not like to offend people and not enforce the adult only areas. I'm glad to see that they are.

Good news! Last cruise while eating at the adult beach food area, a couple came and laid two sick, whiny daughters on their picnic table. It was not serene! We will see those new signs 4/12.

We love kids, but don't have any, either. I really like the idea that Disney has these seperate areas on the ship and on the island.

Oops, in my original post I meant to say that ironically we spent our day on the FAMILY beach!!
But we'll probably make it to Serenity Bay for at least a little while on our next trip in April. Is is SO peaceful over there.
