Hi,

We purchased points from the Timeshare Store starting in January and closed in March. The only thing we received from DVC is a letter stating that our 2002 dues are paid. I called member sevices and got our membership number, and have already booked an August vacation. I have left two messages with the Member Services Administrative office, but I have not heard back. Should we have received a membership card? A welcome letter? A nice little prize?

P.S. Surprised DH with an add on at BCV. I hide the note in an easter egg. I think we are hooked!:pinkbounc

You will get membership materials from DVC. It usually takes several weeks. Don't expect any "nice little prizes", as those come from the sales staff and you didn't buy from them. (Maybe your seller will send you the one's he got when he purchased originally. ;) )

You may get something from sales when your add-on at BCV goes thru.

Glad you already made a reservation, that really helps to enjoy the membership! :)

It's likely that DVC already has you in the computer. I'd call Member Services and see.

We closed on our resale March 3rd. We just got our Member book but are still waiting for our Membership card and paperwork.

We also added on to BCV and when we got the initial paper work for that we got the print of BCV but no backpack (our guide assured me we would get a backpack)

I hear they are way behind.... I hope they catch up soon!!!

It will take up to a month for you to receive your membership cards and member guide, but they will come. You have the important things - your member number and a ressie :).
