Hey,
We have just booked out holiday for the end of June next year for 17 nights. I am going with my boyfriends family (it is their 11th time and my 1st!) I am so excited already god knows what I am going to be like nearer the time!
We are staying at the Pop Century Resort in the 80's section which looks pretty cool with a massive Mr and Mrs Potato Head as well as Rubik's cube staircases. Neither of us have stayed here if anybody has what are the rooms, food like etc.. We are staying here for 13 nights.
Then we are driving to Clearwater and staying and the Shearaton Sand Key for 4 nights to relax before coming home.
We have booked flights, hotel and car higher with Virgin, but are going to but the park tickets from Attractions Tickets Direct as they had a better deal. We have also found a deal for SeaWorld and Aquatica where it is about £40 for both entries which seems like a good deal. I think we are going to buy the Universal tickets when we are there.
We are think of going to see the Circus show, has anyone been what is it like?
Has anyone got any must-sees, as the people haven't been for 4 years, there could be some new attractions!
Also we have been having a look at places to eat but there are so many to choose from, has anyone got any favourites that are worth a try and do you need to book?
Thank you in advance.
Debbie :)

Hi, Debbie and a very warm welcome to the DIS. :goodvibes It sounds as though you've got a great trip planned and I'm sure you're going to love it.
The very newest attractions are Toy Story Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios and The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios (where the old Back to the Future attraction used to be).
Also new for your boyfriend and his family will be Soarin', the updated Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo and Friends Clamobiles, Turtle Talk with Crush, and The Three Caballeros (replacing El Rio Del Tiempo), all at Epcot; Finding Nemo - The Musical and Expedition Everest, along with the Yak & Yeti full-service restaurant at Animal Kingdom; Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and Stitch's Great Escape at Magic Kingdom (although neither is a must-do, IMHO); and Lights, Motors, Action and Journey into Narnia (a walk-through attraction) at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Block Party Bash has replaced the Stars and Their Cars Parade at DHS.
The Pleasure Island area of Downtown Disney has undergone a bit of a facelift and now features the popular Raglan Road Irish pub. T-Rex, a themed restaurant is also due to open there later this year.
New at Universal Studios is Shrek 4-D and, depending on when in 2004 they visited, possibly also The Revenge of the Mummy. Both are not-to-be-missed attractions. Sea World has undergone a major transformation with a new waterfront area and a host of new attractions. Its own water park, Aquatica opened earlier this year.
Have to go to bed now, because I'm falling asleep, but I'm sure you'll get plenty more responses tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Hi everyone, it's the 'David' part of David and Debbie here - thanks for the replies to this thread; Debbie has been so very excited about this holiday ever since we booked it on Sunday! I don't know how we're going to wait until 2009!
My family and I have been to WDW a few times before (I think this will be my eleventh), but this time my wonderful girlfriend Debbie is coming along for the ride. The first of many! Saying that, the last time I went was in the summer of 2004, so things have probably changed a little since then.
As Debbie has already said, we're staying at the Pop Century Resort's '80s section and I think it looks pretty damn fun! My family and I stayed at the All-Star Movies Resort the last three times we've been (in the Toy Story section), and so I hope the Pop Century will be just as nice. We think it will be; it looks nice and bright from all the pictures I've seen and, most importantly, it looks very Disney-y! Moreso than any of the more expensive resorts.:yay:
I really can't tell you how excited I am about this trip - Debbie and I had our first Disney taste together at Disneyland Paris last June and this is just going to be amazing! The food! The rides! The atmosphere! The everything!:3dglasses

You will have the best time ever!!! Take a look at all the food reports to decide where you want to eat - for the more popular ones you need to book 6 months out! It adds to the excitement though (if you need anything to!!) once you have secured them!
