Hi all. I am in WDW right now and I just toured the sample models of the BCVs. Did anyone else notice that there are only 4 small drawers for clothing in the studios? The VWL and BWV studios give 4 large drawers for clothing in the studios. Unfortunately, I cannot remember much in the way of drawer space in the 1BR bedroom either. I realize that the 1BRs have the large closet but the closet in all studios is not very deep for suitcases laying open for clothing.

Just wondering if anyone else noticed the drawer space. Is it just me? Am I unusual in that I like to unpack completely and use drawers for those items that go into drawers?

I will be back touring the models with my husband on Thursday so I will definitely be checking out the bedroom drawer space in the 1BR of the BCV model.

I just don't know where 4 people would put their clothing in a studio.

I didnt' look very closely at the studio drawers but, one thing I did look closely at was the one bedroom drawer space in the living room sleeping area, the BCV have drawers under the entertainment center in the living room. I think this is different from the rest of the villas.

Just as a note, VWL does have a large drawer in the entertainment center. We used ours for our dd's toys and videos during our visit but it is large enough to be used for clothing etc.

While I haven't toured the BCV models, we've stayed in BWV and HHI and have toured VWL and OKW. OKW seems to be the only DVC property with proper drawer space. The others have very little storage space other than the closet. I expect BCV will be the same.

Last summer, I posted a question asking people what they do for storage, because I found rummaging through suitcases for a family of four to be difficult. I like to unpack everything and throw the suitcases in the closet.

People found clever ways to make the most of the space, for example, using the kitchen cupboards to stack tee shirts, and the little drawer in the entertainment center for socks, etc. I'm really looking forward to my upcoming trip, and will try to use the space as efficiently as possible. I still think there must be some reason why the DVC properties are short on drawers.

Clever idea - kitchen cupboards for my jeans!

Anybody else have some storage ideas to pass along.

We walked through the model on our March trip. I noticed the little drawers and am worried about storage, too. Other than that I loved the model. Other than a stay at VB a few years ago, we're new to the DVC resorts so I love hearing these suggestions as we too unpack everything!!!
