I used the Lego Star Wars designs for my son's birthday favors (Thanks Amy!) and they were a huge hit. I was wondering if anyone could design a teacher thank you- chocolate bar wrapper? If personalization is possible... I'd love-

I used the Hershey's 1/2 lb. bars and in just trimming off the white and then a hair extra off the sides, the size was perfect!

Is it possible to do a generic wrapper? I have 17 people to do this for :eek: (from Principals to therapists to specialists to homeroom teachers) and it will be so much easier to have one design.

Maybe say, "Thank you! You're the best!" or something like that.

I usually make jam, but I don't think I'll get around to it this year.

I have used the 1/2 lb. Hershey Bars and they fit perfectly. I just trim the white off and then a hair more off the sides and they are perfect.

I have heard others say they have sized them to fit the smaller bars but I have not done this so I am unsure of the dimensions.

I had to laugh at this comment. My first thought was, "Neither do we!" because they shaved two days off of school this year (told us two weeks ago) because we didn't use all of our snow days. Needless to say, the kids were thrilled!

And you're work is VERY much appreciated! I'm always looking for something new and creative to give to the teachers and staff, and this was absolutely perfect for this year. Thanks again.

I'm printing up the wrappers now. Just in case this helps anyone, here's what is working for me. I'm using the 3.5 oz (100g) organic Trader Joe's chocolate bars. I was able to get two wrappers per sheet of paper (landscape setting). Also, they seem to look best if you print them in draft mode.

And what's also nice about these, the wrapper is also the gift wrap! Bonus!!!

Ang - The candybar wrappers I use are for the large size bars (I believe they are 1/2 lb.). I have had others say that they can easily be resized to fit the smaller ones but I personally have only done the large ones - so I do not know the dimensions of the small ones.

The wrappers I design are for the large size candybars (I think they are 1/2 lb.).

The dimensions of the design are 9.75 (width) x 13.653 (height).

This is the only size I have done so I am unsure of the dimensions for the smaller bars. When printing mine, the size was just about perfect. I think I trimmed a hair off of each side. I hope this helps.

Oh No!!!! I was getting ready to print out all of my wrappers for Teacher Appreciation Week tomorrow and I realized I'm two short. One teacher recently married and changed her name and my son has added another teacher. I'm deperate! When I made mine, I just used regular printer paper. Others on the boards have used a paper like a light brochure paper (a little shiny) and say that it looks very nice. Whichever you prefer...

They should be perfectly sized for the large candy bars. I print mine from my Photoshop Elements but you should be able to print from any software, including Word.
