hi there, why is it that even when i look in value season, i cannot seem to find a room there for under 435.00 per night? is it b/c I am paying extra per child? It says their rates start at 385.00 per night and I am willing to go during a cheaper time frame if that is the case. thanks!

I don't believe it's because of your child. I often price the deluxe resorts online and despite the price shown,(starting at...) it is rare that I actually find that rate, no matter what time of year I'm shopping.
I believe it to be just supply and demand. The higher end deluxes stay 90% occupied at this time, so they hold the line on prices.
It is my experience that you have to book the entire PACKAGE, rather than room only to catch any type of break.
Good luck, and keep looking!:thumbsup2

so it is cheaper when you book the package then?
do you usually book it through the site rather than a discount site (like AAA)?
thanks for any help!

Used AAA to book my package (although most of the time I just do room only)I used the Disney website or preferably called Disney.
I have read on here though that people get some outstanding deals by booking directly through AAA.:thumbsup2

The GF is $385 per night for a garden view room in Value season. Value season runs....January 1 - February 13, July 20 - October 1, November 30 - December 18
$435 is the price during "Regular" season, which includes the dates...March 30 - July 19, October 2 - November 29.
Do your dates fall within Value season?
Also, on the total package cost they add 12.5% tax which puts the nightly total at $433.13.
