What do you do with the things you buy in Disney?

or from the Disney Store?

Clearly people are buying the snowglobes and home decor stuff. So what do you do with it?

Is your home decor Disney?

Our family loves Disney and we certainly have enough stuff that we could decorate in Disney, but it seems, I don't know. I think I want it displayed, but then I put it up, live with it for a few weeks and take it down. Only to want it back up again in a few months.


I just don't know what to do.


Does anyone have any pictures of their homes. Maybe if I seen some, that would help me decide.

Our home has Disney stuff in every room. Our spare bedroom is full of stuffed animals. Our office has Donald Duck souveniers on every flat surface. Including all the shelves and all three desks.

I have a collection of Mickey beanies which are displayed in my office at work so my office is known as the Mickey office. I also have 3 snow globes that are displayed on top of the display cabinet which holds some of my Mickey beanies -- I don't have enough room unfortunately to display them all. Whenever I come back from WDW people in the office want to know what beanies I've purchased. :rotfl2:

Oh I have stuff all over the place. I even made pin boxes for all the trading pins. I should take some pics.

I have a whole room with all of our disney pictures and such on the walls and nick nacks from Disney there - We have a collage of family pictures that we took in the forest one year and i'm going to switch those out next trip and get pictures in different locations in Disney. I also have my kitchen disneyfied - much to the horror of our interior decorator!!:rotfl2: She tried to tell me I had to have a grown up house and I told her it's Disney or bust - so here's what we compromised on for the kitchen. the white canisters on the counter have Mickey's on them, clock has a Mickey, fridge is covered in Disney fridge magnets, Mickey kettle and toaster... :rotfl2: I won!!

We have a curio cabinet chock full of snowglobes and more in boxes awaiting a second cabinet for displaying them. Our kitchen has Disney utensils within it like our waffle maker our toaster and our sno cone maker. We have Disney decor all through our house including a fully decorated Finding Nemo bathroom.

I just bought a shelf to house all my "Disney stuff." I love it. I call it my "pooh corner"

My kitchen also has to be done around my winnie the pooh plates. I want those colors to be used as my jumping off point.:thumbsup2

Most of the stuff I buy at the DS is clothing, so I wear my purchases.

However, I work at a school, so I have LOTS of Disney there! S

We have other stuff scattered around the house and garden to. Oh yeah we also have stuff on and inside out RV. lol

I put out some of our stuff last night.
The snowglobes are on the shelves by the TV, I have a black, metal, wrought iron? Cinderella's coach that has a candle in it sitting on a trunk. My castle is on a shelf at the top of the stairs. And my hanging Mickey candle holder is in the kitchen. And of course the various silver ware etc.

I just had a friend over and she said she loved it!!! She said it was so subtle.
