Are there any no sew ones? I have a machine but I am not that great of a sewer.

Not sure I am in the right area of the forum???

What are they - can you send a link to one you may have seen before?

They are t shirts with ribbons sewn onto/across the chest area and a Mickey head on them. Maybe this link will take you there.

How comfy are these when they are done? Some shirts when you've done iron-ons and stuff sometimes they are too stiff.

This is one I made last year. My first attempt. I used fusible hem tape first, so it wouldn't move on me, then stitched it down. Her shirt didn't have side seams, so I folded the ribbon under. Used wonder under for the mickey head. And did a close stitch zig zag. I would imagine you could make one as a no sew. Use the fusible web, not too heavy. Otherwise, it might be stiff as someone else suggested. You won't need to fold over the ribbon, I learned that you can seal the ends with fray check or heat (like a match flame). There is fabric paint that you can seal the fabric edges of the Mickey head to the shirt. Oh, btw, the Mickey head is a blown up Disney paint chip.

You could join us at the DisBoutique thread for other ideas.

I make disney customs and sell on ebay/etsy :) Congrats on being crafty :)

I agree with the above poster about the fusable tape and then stitching it down :) Are you making the ribbon shirt with a mickey head or with a bow? if a bow I would suggest doing stiff stuff on it to hold the shape and if a mickey head maybe just do an iron on since you dont really like sewing.

I may try to make some of these. They are too cute.

Can you explain how to use the paint chip?

I used it as a pattern for the Mickey head. I blew it up on a copy machine until I got the size I wanted.
