Also, keep in mind that if you don't want to hit all the circuit party type events, that you can just go to the parks (Saturday at the Magic Kingdom is a MUST. And wear RED! ) and then head over to Pleasure Island in the evenings. For a lot of us, doing it that way is more fun than shelling out big bucks for the huge parties and missing the theme parks.
I'm sure you'll have a blast. The first time a Gay Days is SO MUCH FUN!

They Gaydays.com calendar is good, but it only shows some of the great events.
I put together this one but included everything I could find.
I created a schedule of Events by Day and Events by Category
And on busy days I broke drop men's and women's events.
www.VisitGayOrlando.com (http://www.visitgayorlando.com)
Also, if you didn't know Cirque will be in production during Gay Days (normally it is closed)
Anyway check out the schedule, I think it may be work for you.

I am very jealous! I will be there for my first gay days next year, but I have a feeling it won't be the same with PI likely being closed by then :worried:

From my sources at DTD, I don't think PI is going to close but there may be some re-structuring. A few of the venues are just too big of money makers to be likely to close (AC, Mannequins, 8-TRAXX), and the BET facility shares a kitchen with AC and is often rented out as meeting space.
That being said, RNR BC is not likely to be the last club to undergo a change, and we might see some clubs run by outside companies make an appearance. I have no doubts there will probably be a lot of Disney staff cuts like Mike mentioned, but that doesnt necessarily mean PI will be going away completely.

This jives with what I'm hearing from the management at the AdvClub as well.
Oh, and ASTURBOY, PI is Pleasure Island, BET is the BET Soundtage club (BET standing for Black Entertainment Television, just like the TV channel), RNR BC stands for Rock-n-Roll Beach Club (which is now closed)

I dunno, They are supposedly stopping the sale of annual tickets on June 1 and not allowing group bookings anymore. The rumor is that Mannequins is going to be handed over to a third party vendor and they probably are not going to keep it in tact:worried: :(
If I had the money, I'd offer top dollar to buy Mannequins just to preserve it and make it better. I'd bring it back to its glory days of hot male dancers and even better special effects.

I got a little more clarification on the "no more group bookings" thing from someone at the AC. After June 1st, they need to go through an approval process to do private events at the AdvClub. The Meetings/Conventions group can't just book it, they now need approval from PI management. I was also told that to date, they haven't failed to get approval for anything that people have wanted to do at the AC.
To me, that seems a lot less "gloom and doom" than what'd I'd heard from other sources.
Not sure how that affects the other clubs, though.
