View Full Version : OT - Prayer Request

I know there are many of you here that believe in the power of prayer to heal. I have a request. We just got a call this morning that my husband's best friend had a heart attack this morning and passed away. He was 41. He leaves behind a wonderful wife and 3 beautiful children. They are a faith-filled family and sure could use some prayers right now.
We are just kind of shell-shocked. We were just talking about how we were going to spend this beautiful holiday when the phone call came.
Thanks for any thoughts you can spare today for Rick's family. Enjoy the holiday with your family and friends!

What sad news! I'll definitely be praying for Rick's family, and for your family as well as you deal with this. I'm so sorry.

Prayers said for Rick's family and friends. What an awful thing to happen, and he was so young...
My prayers are with all of you!

My prayers are with them also. It's scary to think people can have a heart attack at such a young age...

Prayers go out for the repose of his soul, and for peace and acceptance for his grieving loved ones. Thru God's infinite grace, they will get through this in time.

I will pray for your friends. When I was 11 my own dad passed away from a heart attack. (mid-forties). A few years ago my only brother also passed away and left four kids. (He was 45) It is so difficult to deal with the unexpected passing of a vibrant husband and father. In about six weeks (basing this on our own family's experience) the wife, parents, siblings and children of the man will start to know what has hit them. What a shock even for your own family. I am sorry. I am glad to know he was a person of faith and that his family will have their own faith to sustain them.:sad1:

Wow! Sounds like Easter, about an hour after work and mom called. Thought she was calling to say Happy Easter, sadly no, my 41 year old cousin, Emily, died from a massive heartattack which happened at work. Coworkers tried cpr, EMT were there in less then 5 minutes, she offically passed a few hours later, when they turned off all the machines.
