Why Can't I Book Past Dec. 2008 on WDW Web-Site ???

When will I be able to go on-line and get a quote or book ressie for 2009. The web site keeps telling me that ressies are only excepted thru December 2008.
I like to go on-line and compare & price shop and get various quotes.

Any Idea on this ???

you can call the number to book the room over a year in advance but they cannot guarantee rates yet b/c 2009 room rates are not actually released until this summer. GL!

We booked our stay for May 2009 already. As soon as the official prices will be announced we have to pay the fees.
Personnel I don't care what the prices are We just would like to be sure that there is a room available at the time we like to go to WDW.

When you book a room for 2009 (and within 500 days of the current date), you can only do so by calling Disney directly or your TA. You will be required to put down one night deposit -the amount you put down is based on the 2008 PEAK rate for your choosen resort. If you want to book a package, you can convert your ressie to a package deal when the plans are announced which is usually during the summer months. The 2009 room rates and package rates will then be adjusted and reflected on your ressies.
