We are doing the 4 day in May. We are not planning to do Palo's. I just wondered how many (%) of men that wear jackets in Triton's. DH will wear one without any problem, I just wondered if many men wear them. Since I'm packing for a 10 day trip, I would prefer not to have to pack it if not that many actually wear them. Just trying to figure out what we are really going to need. Thanks, Erin

I have never done the 4 day. 3 day twice and the 7 day once and I wore a jacket each night except at Parrot Cay. We had our picture made each night and it made for some good looking photos. I normally do not wear a sport coat or suit that ofton. Just to church on Sundays when it is less than 80 degrees but on board ship it was just nice to dress up for a while. You can change before hitting the clubs later.
A lot of guys wore the jacket into the resturants and then hung it over the chair.
Whatever works for you.

Your hubby will be fine without a jacket, particularly if you are not going to Palo. The 3 and 4 day cruises are quite casual.

We went on a 4 day cruise in January and maybe 1/3 of the men had jackets on. Mostly dress slacks, dress shirt.

See above post re:same question. In case you don't find it, no, a jacket isn't "required," although about 75% of the men were wearing them. I wore my dress pants and Hawaiian shirt with no problem and there were other men dressed in nice shirt/pants with no jacket or tie. You may want at least one jacket and tie for one of the two formal nights (one billed as formal and the other was the Captain's Gala).

dmoller- we are only on the 4 day so we won't have a formal night, and we are not going to go to Palo's. If we were doing the seven day I would definetely take the jacket. I just know that on the four day, he will wear it for about 5 min. and then it would hang on the back of his chair, so I just hate to bother with it.

did I? I'd say you could get away without it. Enjoy
