Contemporary still worth it?

In pricing resorts for our DEC trip, the Contemporary nightly rates are at 325 and 240. We have always loved staying there for the mere convenience of the World. Has anyone been recently? Are the rooms in good condition still? Any pros and cons on this?

yes it is well worth it! the rooms are in great condition! at least the ones we have been in and my friends as well!

It is nearly always worth staying closer to the Magic Kingdom! My family and I have been regulars to CBR for several years now, and while it is fantastic (Seaspray has a terrific website on that hotel, by the way), I have always wanted to stay in one of the main hotels around SSL, especially the Polynesian. If I had the chance, I would stay at the Contemporary in a flash! The pools are great as are the rooms, and to have the monorail pass right by your room is really cool!

rooms are in absolute perfect shape. the bathroom is roomy and spacious and the balcony is really great. my favorite hotel resort.

We were just there in February--room was great, service was great, and we had a wonderful time---yes, it's still worth it!:)
