Okay----here it is, 12:30am, about 12 beers later, I am home from the MDGG! I simply had to come here and post about all the awesome people at this gathering.

First... my deepest thanks to BigKahuna & Mrs. BigKahuna for being our gracious hosts. They were simply wonderful for letting us "trash" their site and sit around and eat, drink, and just be ourselves.

Second.... Gatordad & Mrs. Gatordad, you are just the best & I am totally in love with your kids! Don't forget to get DD the books, "Kingdom Keepers" and "Peter and the Starcatchers" & "Peter and the Shadow Thieves". She will so enjoy them. Pete.... you da man!!!

Third.... AuburnJen & AuburnChris & Lil'Auburn.... it wouldn't have been near as fun without you! Chris...thanks for all your work setting up the Mickey Screen...even tho the rain kept us from using it.

Mike (aka Lisa82 - yeah he really is a dude) and his wife who is actually Lisa, are super people and great makers of Buffalo Wings (and that is from someone who knows her wings!) Love ya guys!!! Edit to add the SoRuls82 family...OMG, how could I leave you out???

Last, but certainly not least, there is BigDaddyRog!!! YOU are the most wonderfully awesome person on the board! Rog was fashionably late, but we forgave him because he brought the kungaloosh stuff & some mint liqueour that I thought was sooooooo good, and his DW (who should be sainted for puttin' up with Rog-lol-you know I luv ya, dude) made this really outstanding Jambalaya!

We had a simply outstanding time, even if it did rain on & off.

Al --- Pete kept toasting your picture. Ami --- Pete did his best to keep you dry & out of the rain. We toasted "Tarp-Man" , "Disney Donna" and all of those who could not be there. Hell.... we even gave a toast to "Mean Gene" who did not come around and yell at us cause there were 20 eleven carts parked on Steve's site!!!

Contrary to popular belief, MsGus is NOT 84, does NOT have blue hair, but is actually quite youthful (30 something), very pretty, has terrific kids that I would kidnap in a heartbeat, and even after having 5 kids, has a super figure!!!

I'm looking forward to the next GG on the 4th of July!!! Everyone should try to make it if they can! Disboard Campers ROCK!!!

Well, fun was had by all. I only took a couple of pics but, Rog's wife took a bunch, as well as Mrs. Gatotdad so some should get put up. I left at about 10:30, I'm not sure how long the others stayed. Alot of people had left just before that. Of course it was awesome to meet everyone and finally put some faces to the names. Rock Band was rained out but not the party. plenty of food and drink and a good time was had by all. Many toasts for those no longer with us. Hopefully we will all get together for a TE Porch pic before everyone leaves. The Kahuna's were exellent host for the event. I'll try to post more later and maybe even get a pic or two up.

Well,,,she didn't exactly say how old she was, but she definitly was NOT the image all of us had in our heads of an old lady with blue hair. She DID have some choice things to say about you though, Scott!:rotfl:

All I wanna know is.... why does the entire MrsGus family want to get rid of Haley??? Was she switched at birth? (Poor Haley wasn't there to defend herself, either). Lil Mrs Gus was a hoot - like her mom - and seems to have a crush on this spawn of BDD??:lovestruc :confused3

You have NO IDEA how bad I want to be there for the fourth, I have 3 weeks off in July, my last day at work is the 1st.... the problem is this pesky $5 per gallon diesel, we spent $800 in fuel at Christmas and that was when diesel was $3.50 per gallon.

Well, as Debbie and everyone else has stated. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and we enjoyed the evening even though we did not get to make mules of ourselves on the Guitar Hero game due to the rain. I met a new best bud anyway. We talked about Woman, Beer, Woman, Crown, Woman, Woman, oh, and Woman. Every once in a while he tried to throw in a Gator Statistic or two but I stopped that right in it's tracks. When you've got a nice buzz going you don't want it ruined with Gator material. I think I cured him of that problem.:scared1: Here he is. His name is Jason.

Don't get me wrong, she is a great kid, but only for yall. She acts too much like her mother for us to get along.:headache: I am still willing to negotiate all offers for her or any of my kids. BDR, you FOUND the speakers?? Amazing. TBG took great video of the P & P fireworks along with the water pageant at the same time from chairs on the beach..... it was GREAT!

I found them after Sonya and her family(Us3) informed me that thats where the headless horseman said they were!!! I kinda knew they had to be coming from the cabin, because I looked EVERYWHERE else, as did Sonya's Husband....and there was NUTTIN HONEY!!! So the cabin was the only place left that the sound COULD be coming from...but I thought it was coming from behind the cabins fence(in the backyard), I had no idea that the cabin itself was basicly a housing for the generator and sound system. I asked the cast member who repremanded Sonya & family for being behind the loop with a golf cart if there was a shot in hell that I could get a photo of the inside of the cabin, she said NO, but that there was nothing in there to see anyway...just spiders and webs!!!!! CMs are sucky liars!!!! Next time, I'll do it YNOTTONY's way and ask for forgiveness instead of permission!!!

Nah, really it was just easier to haul the kids out there on the golf cart rather than having them walk down the dark path. We also used YNOTTONY'S strategy (ask for forgiveness instead of permission) and TCD's "super sleuthing" technique that evening to solve the mystery!! :rotfl:
