Does anyone know whether you can get a milkshake instead of a dessert at the Sci-Fi when using a TS credit on the DDP?

I'm sure I saw a post a while back that said someone had done this. They asked for it to go.

I asked and they said yes. I think they do it because it's cheaper for them. I would ask to make sure this year.

I was there in Jan.08 on ddp and the only way we could get a milkshake was to use it as our dessert.

It was the same when we dined there. I got dessert and DH got the milkshake then we shared them.

So I suppose there is no way to get a milkshake as your non-alcoholic beverage and also get a dessert at the end?

nope. thats what we wanted to do... we could do it at 50's primetime & Whispering canyon though

Why can't there be any consistency? Is it all dependent on the CM or does each F&B outlet have its own set of rules? I'm not saying I need two pounds of ice cream shoved down my gullet for lunch, but I think we would all appreciate an even understanding of what we can get from where and why.

I think it's the outlet more than individual CMs as I dined at sci-fi in 2005 and it was the same way back then. I normally go with the rule that speciality drinks won't be included with the DDP, then if they are I consider myself lucky!

Weird. Everytime we've dined at Sci-Fi on the DDP we've been allowed to get shakes as our beverage and still get a dessert. The last time we went on the DDP was 09/07, though- maybe they've changed since then.

Same here. We were at SCI FI in Aug 07. We had milkshakes for our drink and then ordered dessert. I wonder if it is individual cms or did they change the rules??

May be it is the cms? We dined there in 2005 and 2007 and couldn't get milkshakes as a beverage either time.

we dined there for lunch about 4 weeks ago on the DDP and i ordered a shake as my non alcholic beverage. iw as then entiled to a dessert. i was told that i could actually get 2 shakes (one as the beverage 7 one as the dessert) if i chose.
